“This is an interesting mix of sushi shanty, convenience store, and someone’s kitchen nook. The sushi was tasty and large, though a tad heavy on the rice for the price.The boba tea had good flavor, but the blended ice was a little coarse. What wasn’t culinarily perfect was made up for in hospitality. I was greeted kindly; after ordering, I was invited to sit and enjoy complimentary coffee while waiting.”

“Awesome food. Called in a lunch order for my job last minute... food was ready in 20 min. The lechon kawali was cooked perfectly. The skin was crispy and juicy. Also bought a bottle of bagaong, lumpia, and pancit. I know the other reviews is saying poor customer service but you can't deny the quality of the food. I live in Oregon and have been savoring the last few drops not knowing how easy it was to reach out to them and order some up. “This is my favorite out of all the Ba-Le shops. They have the largest assortment of grab and go items as well as an extensive menu offering. Being a busy location, everything is freshly made and tasty. My main favorite is the French bread sandwich with pate and steamed pork. I don't know why, but I just love this combination. It is always my go to despite all the other wonderful combinations. My second favorite is the headcheese because of the fatty and peppery meat. They also off an assortment of rice plates, Pho noodle soups, classic green papaya salad, spring and summer rolls, as well as wide assortment of other goodies. Service there is very friendly and fast. It is just a shame that the surroundings weren't a little more pleasant.”

What a surprise to find out that we were the only 2 booked for the 1 PM trip and a bigger surprise when CAPT Ben informed us that we were still going out!! He took us to a great location for up close and amazing views of the dolphins. The crew was friendly, attentive and accommodating. Thank you CAPT Ben for a memorable experience. “Probably our favorite chill bar during the day with a nice view and ocean breeze. If you are into country definitely go and they have decent specials and it’s right on HPU so it’s pretty packed but pretty cool. The have Pool and dart boards so it’s chill for a guys night or if you and the girls want to listen to some music and have a good time. The have some outdoor seating and the view is nice and have that breeze at nice too”

“This place is pretty good and some amazing dishes. It was a bit confusing at first. The dishes on the main board don't have any description, but they have a printed menu that does once you find it at the order station. It might help a bit if they redid their menu board with pictures and then have a larger color plastic menu at the order station to make it a little easier to figure out what to order especially if you are unfamiliar with the dishes or don't know the differences between them. I ordered the Kao Poon, a Laotian dish that was over the top with great flavors. It was like a combination of Thai soups and curries in a dish that mixed them all. I got it with shrimp and they to my surprise, didn't cook it in advance which left the shrimp delicate and juicy and not hard and over cooked when places use precooked shrimp. It was not to thin yet not to then with the broth and with the noodles and cabbage, left you feeling satisfied. You can tell this was a family business by the motherly types in the kitchen making sure the younger ones running the orders where in check. They are all very friendly and made sure I was satisfied with my meal. I do plan to go back again and check out some of their other dishes. I was very happy to see this place stay authentic and not watered down for Westerners' which drives me crazy with a lot of Asian places. Check it out, you won't be disappointed!”
