“I love this place because of the chefs - especially a gentleman named Kieron. Trade secret: Always ask who's in the kitchen that evening. His style is understated where he demands the flavors of the food speak for themselves and enhanced only to bring out regional nuances where the food came from. We had scallops from Maine, caviar from Russia (or Western Alaska), and beef from Japan... all he prepared so carefully with love as if he's preparing it for his mother's last meal on her last birthday as she floats into eternity. He could cook for titans of the culinary industry or for Presidents.”

The different Country themed Dinner buffet (ex.France,Italy) is amazing and changes every night so you get to try a taste of different cultures as well as some regular basics they keep every night so if your not in to trying new things you still have their amazing regular dishes to choose from. Temperature control is a huge factor in making a good buffet in to a great world class buffet. No matter how good the food is, if the temp is not right it's a total waist of the dishes being served, they have one of the best if not the best temperature control ratings in my book so the full flavor and experience of the food can be enjoyed to the maximum extent. A+++ this is a must while visiting Oahu/Honolulu worth every penny. A+++”

“Their hot homemade biscuits are amazing! Be sure to get one with whatever else you're ordering. We had the fish and eggs and ox tail soup during this visit and both were delicious. Jack's Restaurant is truly a hidden gem located among the other restaurants in a strip mall. I've always just walked on by to eat somewhere else. Breakfast is served all day and is open until 2pm daily.”

“Perfect! After I played in Waikiki Beach, I got hungry and went into any restaurant I could see. I was lucky! The restaurant's name is Teddy's. The atmosphere was also relaxed like Hawaii.If you sit by the window, you can see the ocean and the zoo.I ordered directly from the staff, and he looked very warm and kind.The name of the food you recommend is Tedisburger and big fphotato chip It's delicious because it's full inside. It's a little expensive. I really want to come back next time.”

“No frills plate lunches, poke, sandwiches, and shaved ice. Good quality food, friendly staff, and within walking distance of Waikiki. Definitely worth checking out after hitting the beach or surfing. The shaved ice was definitely my daughter's favorite (great flavors and massive size, even for the kids size!). And if it's not for you, Rainbow Drive-In is right next door!”

I was looking for something for my grandmother and they helped me pick out a smoothie that was high in calories without lactose and had some kind of greens snuck in. They even broke out the big recipe binder to get me a smoothie that they used to make but was no longer on the menu. They went above and beyond for sure.”

“Saturday breakfast. My first time at this Waikiki location, near the Honolulu Zoo, and I actually like the way they cooked the food. Our server and person who took away our used plates were very pleasant and accommodating. I would have liked my sausages browner but I should have mentioned that when I ordered. It got busy minutes after we got our table so perfect timing for us. It is not a fine dining or even close to it but it was a pleasant experience for myself!”

“The reason why I like to eat a burger here is because there is the custom burger which you can create. I always try to make my own burger, and it's very fun, healthy and safety. The inside the burger shop is very cold all the time, so you should bring your jacket with you to eat sit down. I don't recommend that eating outside with the tables and chairs because there are dirty with the birds. I can't stand it. That's why 4 stars... They also have a bathroom inside the shop, you don't have to go to a bathroom at the Kahala mall. They're always busy because there are enough parking lot.”
