“I've visited several Jersey Mike locations on island, but I frequent this location so much, it's a wonder they don't know my name already. I getting my sandwiches from here. I always get their Mike's Famous Philly Cheese steak with all its cheesy goodness and an ice cold Raspberry tea to wash it down with. If I come for the sandwich, I most certainly stay for the customer service. The guys at this location are all super nice and accommodating. I've never had a bad customer service experience at any of any Jersey Mike's location. Compared to Subway, they are little bit on the pricier side for a sandwich, but I think it is better in terms of the quality. If I have a choice between Jersey Mike's and Subway, 9/10 I'm going to pick Mike's. The only downside to this location is the parking can get kind of wacky during lunch time (which is usually when I go) and you have to fight people for parking stalls. But other than that, this location is pretty awesome.”

“Genuine, casual dining with phenomenal service and great prices. Seasoning is gentle so the natural flavor of the ingredients really comes through. Great for those that typically find restaurants in Hawaii to be too salty. The salads and vegetables in each entree marry well with their main dish and there is a spread of very well priced appetizers available for tons of variability between different visits. Be prepared with cash because they do not accept cards or mobile payment. A nice wine shop next door compliments the BYOB policy here at Olive Tree Cafe. Great place for impromptu meals because the food comes out quickly and there is a good amount of parking available.”

“We ordered a Breakfast Burrito and All American Breakfast. Shared an iced Thai Latte. Breakfast Burrito was yummy - held together nicely, firmly packed, and didn’t get soggy while eating. It came with sour cream and a (wetter) salsa. Potatoes, eggs, and Portuguese sausage are wrapped up nicely within. Tasty and well seasoned. The All American Breakfast was simple but delicious. The portion was large but not overwhelming. Potatoes were seasoned and had a nice crispy edge. We weren’t really sure what the Thai Latte was all about - it tasted like a sweetened ice coffee - all right but not like a Thai iced tea nor a Vietnamese iced coffee like we were expecting (it doesn’t claim to be either so this had no relevance to our rating). Prices are really reasonable in our opinion. No concerns with the service. Parking can be a bit tight on the weekends. Would come again.”

“Delicious! Although it was super busy when we got here, the queue moved fast and we didn't have to wait very long for our order. The kale salad and the salmon salad are very fresh, delicious and don't have too much dressing which is great! The very berry smoothie was super tasty. We came across this place by accident and couldn't choose better! Don't be scared if there's a large number of people waiting to be served. They are super fast. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend! If you want to have breakfast here, make sure to get here before 11am.”

“This cafe is adorable! It's a great stop on your way to or from (or both) Diamond Head. They keep the windows open (unless it rains, I imagine), and birds fly through the restaurant freely. I had the Morey special, which was fried rice with shrimp and an egg, some salad, and poke. All of it was delicious, even the salad, which was fairly simple. It filled me up, but I wish I had room to try their pancakes, because those looked amazing, too.”

“We went to this place because a friend recommend it. We ordered the New York steak plate ($17.50) and the Surf & Turf ($19.75). Hubby is not impressed with the cut of the steak (there is just too much fat). I'm pretty happy with the shrimp and chicken in my dish. Portion is pretty generous. Both dishes come with white rice and salad on the side. Ask for soy sauce to add on your rice otherwise it might be too bland.”

“This is most under known and under found place too eat. It is run by the culanary arts department of Kapiolani community college. The students are being trained to be chefs and restaurant owners. Needless to say the food is outstanding and service great. They have sustainable food and different items for special request dietary requests. They also have a night time three course dinner. Look at their website for what is being served. The prices for dinner at fine ding price but there is a reason. It is that good”

“I’ve been to Yummy Korean BBQ many times over the years and absolutely enjoy the food. The menu is substantial and provides a lot of options for everyone. If your family is like mine we all have a different taste and Yummy’s is a good place to come to get everybody satisfied for dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that is in this area we’re heading over to the commissary to get groceries.”
