“For quick and cheap Americanized Chinese food, I recommend this place. (For clarity, I have found Panda Expresses have wild swings in quality depending on a few factors. So this is a review of my experience at this specific location.) FOOD: Surprisingly good. The teriyaki chicken has been a favorite of mine, but this is the first time I had a proper sear on the chicken. The orange chicken was its typical acceptable guilty pleasure. The chow mein had a better texture than usual, likely due to the cook getting the wok temp up to appropriate heat. It takes gumption and confidence to risk the burn for a proper sear. SERVICE: The service was surprisingly good. Cordial, polite, helpful, and not chock full of platitudes or useless filler conversation. He simply took my order, got it right, and handed me my food. He got the portion a touch big, but I don't mind... ATMOSPHERE: To the fault of corporate, the music was horrible. I give them credit for turning it down some, but then all the conversations surround you. I recognize that you don't go to a Panda Express for the atmosphere, but Corporate, spend a little more to avoid pop music from Wish, please. The tables were clean, the chairs pushed in, and the trashes were empty. (I ate here at 4:45 for reference, so not peak time.) CONCLUSION: For a Panda Express, it is operated above average and my experience was enjoyable, as a quick meal between Home Depot and some house chores.”

“I was very excited to have a new BBQ restaurant in Meridian! I went to Smokin Iron on a Saturday evening with my father and brother 4 days after the restaurant opened.It is a small place. The decor is very basic. It's a very basic order at the Cash register style of restaurant. It's a little on the expensive side. The Ribs and Brisket 🍖 had a nice 🙂👍 👌 smokey flavor. The Ribs were done with the meat falling off the bone like in Texas. I really liked my so-called Texas Caviar made with Beans and vegetables. The sliced Brisket was excellent! I intend on going back soon to have one of the Large Baked Potatoes 🥔 that come stuffed with Barbecued Meat!”

“We ordered three 10” pizzas 🍕 to celebrate 3/14/24(pie day!) We celebrated with a classic pepperoni, half pineapple on sourdough. A Samoan add bacon with regular crust. “So at the maverik down the street from this one a car pulled in and these crazy ppl were shouting at me about my driving though it was right off a highway exit and a one lane road into the parking lot. I couldn’t speed if I wanted to. I think they were mad I took the front spot. So they parked at an angle in the handicapped parking and they didn’t have anything to legally park there and started yelling at me. I went in and told the staff and they kept them from coming in and they eventually left. I used to work for maverik and they are amazing and these kids were brand new recruits trained under Kelsey. They handled it amazing for brand new employees and I’m very thankful for their help!!”

“The gentleman at the counter was friendly, funny and sociable as he took our order. We ordered a 12 piece family meal and a gallon of lemonade and sat down. It wasn’t long before somebody else called me up to get the order. He we also polite and friendly. Our order was perfect and we had all that we needed to eat in. Plates, cups, napkins, hand wipes, etc. The food was hot, delicious and tasted fresh. Even my picky little ones cleaned off their plates and are more. I love the fact that the chicken breasts at KFC are never dry, but instead are juicy. I also noticed that they have an exclusive Mountain Dew flavor called Sweet Lightning so I tried it and loved it. I’m a root beer fan and a connoisseur of such…so when I saw that they have A&W made with real sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup (which is horribly bad for you and doesn’t taste as good), I had to try some of that too. Loved it, but I’m still waiting for a day when they’ll bring back the original recipe which was natural… plus their burritos. Yes, A&W served burritos way back in the day when they had waitresses on roller skates. Those were some some DELICIOUS fried burritos and I also remember the trays they used to hook on your driver side window. I guess this review is not just for KFC, but it’s also for A&W because they share the same kitchen, diner, and cash registers. I’ll keep coming back…I promise.”

“Stopped in for a quick bite to eat and was totally thrown back to my childhood when A&W had restaurants and we collected the mini glass mugs. No surprise then when we bought 2 of their collectible mugs when we dropped in! The manager wrapped them both up really well for us, which we appreciated. The restaurant was clean and inviting, the staff was really friendly and attentive, and the food we ordered was the right temperature and tasted great. We ordered the mini corn dogs, fries, onion rings, a cheeseburger and drinks. When I go to fast food places, I don't expect a perfect experience, but this was a great experience all around!”

I got back to work and before jumping into a meeting I saw I got the wrong food. Finished my meeting and came back an hour after I had gotten the food. They weren’t able to find my order, but nevertheless they said they’d be willing to remake it for me. I’m giving 5 stars for the exceptional customer service I received in resolving the issue! “You know when you find that one place that hits you in a really good kinda way? Well, for me, that is il Sugo (which means "the sauce"). From the food to the phenomenal service, this should be your go-to place for quality Italian cuisine. They have a very unique way of adding a personal touch to great Italian classics. Everything tasted fresh. The mozzarella with the bruschetta is mmmm, fresh. The sauce in the chicken parm is mmmm fresh, with the perfect amount of basil. The braised beef with the ravioli is mmmm, fresh. Look here, folks, this ain't no quick served kind of place. Like I said, everything is fresh. Perfection takes time, and you will NOT be disappointed. This is a great little, cozy Italian restaurant. Don't get me started about the desserts. Damn!!! The tiramisu and chocolate cake were divine. When the food arrived, it looked so good, I dove in!!! I forgot to take a pic to include with this review. However, I did get pics of the desserts and WOW!!! Just look at them. If the desserts look that delicious, just imagine that the food looks and tastes just as delicious. Our waitress was way more than a server, so I won't belittle Krysta by calling her such. She was an absolute ROCKSTAR, and she welcomes you to il Sugo like an old friend. She is warm, attentive, and personable. Krysta, thank you for a wonderful experience. “My partner and I went in on Sunday and the place was quite busy! This didn’t slow the service down at all. We seated ourselves and immediately were welcomed with water and menus. I ordered the Denver Omelette and some French toast. The food came out hot and speedy. The omelette was cheesy and perfect. The only thing they did miss was jalapeños I asked to be added into it. The French toast was amazing as well! The table was a bit wobbly as well, maybe something to look into to ensure nothing spills? Overall the atmosphere and servers were great. I definitely recommend this place!”
