The Brim Coffee Shop

Cafe Restaurant

“The coffee is amazing!! I don't do any flavoring so the quality of the coffee is very important and this coffee was delicious. They also have several food options that are great as well. We will definitely be stopping by every time we're in town!!”

Fiesta Bonita Mexican Restaurant

Address: 700 Kootenai Cutoff Rd, Ponderay, ID 83852, USA

Restaurant

“This is a good restaurant. Food taste good and seemed fresh. Chips with salsa and beans provided. We got fajitas and Chipotle shrimp tacos. Service was fast and server checked in multiple times. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the price. $60 w/tax+tip for two people with just water and no apps. Meals start at $19.95 and go up, technically under $20, but not after tax+tip. You do get enough food and you will be full. However it's that awkward amount where there isn't enough for leftovers. If they included just 1 more tortilla and more beans/rice (very little was given) the value would be there. Or they should reduce the portion sizes, not include chips, and reduce the price 20% a meal. We will be back! Albeit not as often as I would like because the prices are too high.”

Everything tasted homemade, very fresh, & SO deliciously satisfying! The broth is so soothing, with beautiful flavor. I also LOVED the homemade chili oil!! The atmosphere is great; funky music, fun artwork, & top-notch customer service. I was very impressed by the friendliness & passion from the owners involvement in every aspect of their business. Definitely making more trips out of town for some Simply Pho. ❤️”

Chicks

Address: 476864 US-95, Ponderay, ID 83852, USA

Restaurant

“Chicks is one of the few places in the area where you can get a healthier choice for a quick lunch. I’ve tried pretty much everything on the limited menu. It’s all good and there is enough variety to make this a weekly stop for lunch. They even have a drive-through. Service is very good. They all seem to actually care about the place and are glad you are there. I wish they were on DoorDash and that they had a punch card program. I would already have a few lunch by now. All in all, a good choice for healthier food when you don’t have a ton of time for about $15 with a drink. About what you’ll spend for fast food, and much better taste and nutrition.”

Burger King

Address: 476997 US-95, Ponderay, ID 83852, USA

Restaurant

“This is 2 reviews in 1. We had Junior Whoppers here on Sunday, July 23/23. They were well prepared with lots of fresh veggies and good amount of condiments. Service was excellent as well. Rating: 5 stars. Our previous visit was so good that we returned 2 weeks later, Sunday August 6/23. Unfortunately, our visit this time was terrible. When we started to eat our burgers, I commented to my husband that they seemed to be missing something, they were very bland. When we opened the next ones, I checked into the burgers and discovered that there were no tomatoes in them. My husband went up to the counter to let them know and was told, 'Oh, sorry. We ran out of tomatoes earlier today'. What??? So they gave us the burgers, knowing full well that they were missing the tomatoes. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN MENTIONED TO US WHEN ORDERING. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Poor, poor service. 0 stars.”

The View Cafe

Address: 462109 US-95, Cocolalla, ID 83813, USA

Restaurant

“It's a nice scenic drive if you're looking to get out of coeur d'alene, Post Falls traffic. The View Restaurant has a great local feel, service is friendly and food came fast, this to me means they are in top of their quantity of food. Biscuits are huge and pop with a great flavor and texture, eggs cooked perfectly. I ordered the country kid 1/2 order still only ate half of that, with a side of patty sausage and created a country Benny by staking my sausage and egg and pouring gravy over the top of biscuit. My husband ordered their breakfast brisket special, and it was so tender and juice great flavor. We ordered a slice of german chocolate cake to go, and its a very large portion enough for 2-3 people to share, I love that. We got there at 9:20 just as it was clearing out from the breakfast rush, then at about 10am it started getting busy again. This was worth the drive, we live in post falls and are always looking for local restaurants wherever we drive to try. So I suggest you for a drive and enjoy the homemade goodness, classic dinner food. Visited again 10-7-23. My son ordered the chicken fried steak, and it was a bit dry, not much flavor. But very large. It's not our favorite dish here.”

Matchwood Brewing Company

Address: 513 Oak St, Sandpoint, ID 83864, USA

Restaurant

“Had their Caesar salad and cheeseburger with fries. My husband and I split the main course and each had a salad, plenty of food for two people. The atmosphere was friendly and clean, you must go up to the bar and order your food, but they bring it to your table. We sat inside as it was pretty hot outside, it was a great overall experience. We will definitely come back and try some of their other dishes. The cheeseburger had great flavor, and was just the right size. I could not put my finger on what was in the fry sauce, it was definitely different but very tasty. And very unique fries. And a note the don't have lemon for those of us who like it with our water, you'll have to ask them why, lol , 🤣 it's pretty funny.”

“Some of the best bbq I’ve ever had. Didn’t expect to find this on this side of the country. Their tritip is especially fantastic. And the prices are very affordable. I’ve been meaning to explore all the restaurants here but i keep coming back to this one! Below is their tacos for 10 bucks, with pulled pork. The other day i got a baked potato for 9 dollars and i got two meals out of it. The potato was so loaded with meat and toppings... you couldn’t see the potato.”

The manager was also around and we had a delightful conversation.”

Schweitzer

Address: Sandpoint, ID 83864, USA

Restaurant

“The snow and terrain was beautiful, runs were nice and long, a great variety of runs for seasons skiers to absolute beginners, BUT skier and snowboarders are supposed to be a tribe and act like it. The ticket gal in one of the first building that you come to in the village must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. She seemed to be bothered by DOING HER JOB and helping us buy tickets. There was nothing abnormal about the request and no reason for her to be grumpy, but she acted so bothered. It made for a sad start to an otherwise enjoyable day. The lift operators seemed nice. One was singing karaoke through his speakers quite loudly (not a problem) and it seemed like they were generally having a good time. The vibes ON THE MOUNTAIN were fun too, but ppl in the village just didn’t seem to treat ppl as though they were all part of the skiing and snowboarding tribe. Parking was an absolute pain, but we did go on a discounted day, so maybe that played into the parking situation.”

The St. Bernard

“The perfect pizza. We'll done, not too much sauce, and so tasty. The food is already worth the drive up the mountain, but the view makes it a 10 out of the 5 I can give.”

Klondyke Cafe & Tavern

Address: 14873 E Hwy 2, Priest River, ID 83856, USA

Restaurant

“Whole in the wall place. Super friendly! The prime rib was so big, barely fit on the plate. Small place, get there early because the word out there is fabulous!”

Crow's Bench

Address: 64 Great Escape Ln, Sandpoint, ID 83864, USA

Restaurant

“Relaxed and minimalistic, yet, elevated atmosphere. Awesomely tasty drinks, excellent food. The beer cheese with the pretzels had wonderful flavor. The asparagus was cooked perfectly. The elk loin was also perfectly cooked and SO tender. I’d never had pickled blackberries, but they paired well with the flavors presented in the elk. Schnitzel had a great crust while maintaining its juiciness, and the creamed kale that was paired with it was impeccable (could have probably had a whole bowl of it to myself). Lastly, the Bee Sting was great, however, personally, would have preferred it to be room temperature or somewhere close to that. The brittle on the crust was lovely though! Brooke was an amazingly personable waitress who had wonderful recommendations and took the best care of us! It makes a difference when your waitress knows her stuff and takes the time to talk and get to know you- especially when you’re from out of town!”

Chimney Rock Grill

Address: 10000 Schweitzer Mountain Rd, Sandpoint, ID 83864, USA

Restaurant

“Went up to Schweitzer Mountain during spring and there were only two food places open. One is the coffee shop and this place. I wasnt expecting much cause this is a hotel restaurant. But I was definitely wrong. The server was very attentive and very professional. The ambiance inside was pretty chill. They have a small menu when we visited. But I was surprised that they have Ramen available. It was so yummy and plenty. They also have sandwiches and fish and chips. The bar looks pretty good too. I think we went there just the right time as we dont really like big crowds. I dont know how it looks like during summer.”
