Best salsa/pico de gallo, refried beans, carne asada(they actually use skirt steak here, not chewy stew meat), rice was traditional and cooked well, chips were fresh, the flan and horchata was perfection. “I highly recommend the Chicken Fried Steak dinner. I started the meal with a scrumptious bowl of New England clam chowder. The amount of food for such a reasonable price will have us returning frequently. It was cheaper to eat here (for 2 people) than it was for us to order pizza & wings and have it delivered. The portions were so large that we got "to- go" boxes. So we will actually get 2 meals each out of this visit. It's not a fancy place, just a laid-back, plain atmosphere. No need to dress up. The staff was friendly. So, if you're in Caldwell, be sure to check it out. They also have terrific breakfast and lunch items on the menu.”

“Rural style steakhouse in downtown Caldwell has a bit of a roadhouse feel with main dining area connected to an expansive bar, live music area. Huge projection TV and pool table as well. Decorated throughout with a western, hunting theme. Our party of 7 was greeted and seated immediately. Was impressed to see an open fire grill and the aroma was great. Waited a bit for my drink order that came incorrectly. Appetizers of fried pickles, cheese curds, and fried prawns were all tasty. Main courses of steak, fried steak fingers, and chicken. The steak was a bit subpar as reviews from the table included overdone fillet, and dry ribeye. The steak fingers were tough to bite through and chewy. Downtown Caldwell felt festive with the Holiday lights still up. Although it was impressive to see so many cars downtown Caldwell on a Tuesday night, parking was a bit of a challenge.”

“The wife and I are always excited to try new places :). We've been really impressed with the caliber of restaurants that are coming into thy Caldwell area. This restaurant had a great selection and there were several items that we wanted to try 😋. We ultimately got the special which was a spicy fig sandwich and then the Italian Variant. These were both really good and we loved the fresh and quality ingredients. The setting is a nice little hole in the wall with some boutique shops in the complex area, and so it was fun to eat and walk around.”

“Overall I’ve never had a terrible experience here. Orders have always been correct. However, the last 3 times I’ve been in the afternoon manager Sharyn, has been terrible with her service. I had app coupons the last 3 times I’ve gone it and they don’t work. She has been nothing but rude and clearly irritated with the app coupons and it shows. The last visit was in the drive thru and after her telling me the coupon wouldn’t work she just stopped helping me at the drive thru. I sat there for 4 minutes (I timed it) without her talking to me and I finally pulled in and went inside so I didn’t hold up cars any longer. When I was asking her to show me how to get the barcode instead of the numbers on the coupon, she looked at my phone said I’m done with this tossed my phone at me and walked away. She should not be a manager if she cannot communicate well with customers. I understand the app is a hassle and I felt bad that it wasn’t working but she has zero communication skills. The rest of the workers in there were very nice. In the end my coupon didn’t work and she was no help at all”

“This place was great! We just moved to the area and my birthday is tomorrow so we decided to give this place a try! The workers are very respectful of my service dog in training, and who I assume to be the manager kept an eye on her while I left my dog in a down-stay to get my salad. My dog didn't budge but I really appreciate that I had an extra pair of eyes on her! I do have a slight critique of the wording she used during a question. She asked if I was training her for someone and what she was for. Which is a great question, but can be seen as invasive by some other people. I suggest asking what tasks or work she is trained to do! My pup does deep pressure therapy, crowd control, and anxiety alert. Again great staff and atmosphere! I forgot to take a picture of my pup in the restaurant but here's the same getup she was in today!”
