“The sandwiches are flavorful, in my opinion, but the service could use some work. They had 5 people and seemed very stressed and overwhelmed. The lady slammed the receipt into the messy cutting board because it was very sticky after that. My only true complaints would be the parking situations with only four parking spots and one handicap. It is very awkward getting in/out. I also would recommend that if they are cutting the sandwiches to cut the bottom (all the way through) Overall, I'd give it a 3 because I did like the flavor of the sandwich.”

“My husband likes seafood, so I thought we would try this place. The food was good, and very generous. They did interesting things with food that we had never had before. We split a ceviche tower. Very clever and plenty for two. It was his birthday so they sang to him and gave him a free shot of tequila! The atmosphere is pretty plain, but the service was good!”

Then we waited for a while for our food to come out, I had to walk up to the cashiers and ask for my food because everyone was just sitting around and talking. The managers definitely need to get new workers.”

“My onions were sautéed perfectly giving my omelet that just right taste. Pancakes were huge and tasty. Server's were new so the coffee wasn't filled and the tables were full of dishes hence the 4stars. A little on the expensive side but not over the top tastiness and meal size made up for it. Would have preferred a bigger coffee cup then I'd not have drank it so fast 😅 we'll probably stop by again. Stopped in for dinner, Hawaiian burger is delicious, fries are fresh cut potatoes. My daughters blt was crispy and big and my other daughter had a large breakfast burrito, they all enjoyed their dinner. Definitely a hidden gem.”

I wanted to jump back on here and say how much I appreciate the friendly service and atmosphere there. I leave happy because everyone there genuinely seems happy to be doing what they're doing. (Unlike at Chipotle in Caldwell by Ustick, that place - every employee seemed like they hated life and their jobs.) I will be back again and bring my children & friends. I got the "Silver Duck" with potato salad. My husband and I share it and that's lunch. Perfect amount of food for lunch for us.”

“The hamburgers were excellent, all the toppings were fresh and the patty was perfectly cooked. Fries came hot and I swear the pickles were the best I have had on a burger. The small town feel was welcoming and the service terrific. Ample parking if you are towing an RV or a toy trailer. There's even an old school Pac Man game for the kids! Keep doing what you're doing, this will be a stop of ours when we come through Cascade from now on. Glad I stopped in.”

“My family of 5 and I had a great experience. The food was great and the server (Marsha) was stellar. Very helpful, gracious and appreciative for us to be there. It has an nice setting but holds the mountain feel. The only small issue we had with the place was it seemed their exhaust fan for the kitchen wasn't working as it smelled like a lot of cooking going on. Wasn't a big deal since it smelled delicious. I guess the good thing is the smell stuck to us the next day so we wanted to go back and eat again. Unfortunately we had to leave town but will back. Do yourself a favor and stop in passing through or on your stay.”

“We stayed at the NoBo Hotel in Cascade and didn’t feel like venturing out for dinner. So we tried the hotel restaurant. The menu sounded good and we were excited to see VanLith ranch steaks listed. We ordered the clam chowder (soup of the day) and the wedge salad to start. Wedge was delicious! Clam chowder needed to be hotter & just a little salt & pepper. But the flavor was really good. We got the filet & ribeye for our main dishes. Both a little undercooked but the quality of the meat and the flavor were so yummy. Loved the vegetable sides & the garlic mashed. We order all 3 kids meals to go for the kiddos. Mac & cheese was so good. All of them were, actually. But $10 for one slider with no side was not worth it IMO. The kids devoured all of it. Would 100% go back.”

“Lots of different fried goodies. We had the jalapeno poppers, pork bites, and cheese curds. Not the biggest fan of the pork but it wasn't bad, the other two were wonderful. They have quite a few options for sandwiches and burgers. I even saw a chimichanga on their menu. To be honest though I was really there for the milkshakes. They do not disappoint! Almost any flavor you can think of, Plus lots of add-on candy bit options. We got a huckleberry one that was super smooth and creamy. Also an Irish cream one with butterfinger bits 🤤. Food was great and the (I'm thinking locally made) outdoor seating tables and very cool.”
