“I was greeted by 🍒 she was awesomely positive. She helped me with my menu selection. She suggested the whole chicken with long grain rice 🍚 🌾, and suggested I get a cup of the garlic 🧄 aioli. The cook was super efficient and spoke to me about the chicken and asked if the Jerk sauce was too powerful, I assured him it was just the right flavor not too spicy 🥵 and not too cold 🥶 it was literally a great blend of a 🇯🇲 staple. “First time here and definitely worth trying. The chicken is soft and well seasoned with the jerk flavors. Mac and cheese is cheesy and good. Cabbage is good..now the red beans and rice tasted like rice a roni..it didn’t have that real flavor of red beans and rice plus I think all I got was like three beans. Then it came with some sauce that was sweet, rubbed me the wrong way. But overall I would recommend for anyone to try for themselves.”

“Made an intentional effort to check out S2 on 111th and Ashland. It is really nice. The staff all were nice and went out of their way. They made it feel like you were hanging with your cousins. Of course, the food is amazing. Chatted up the owner a bit and he seems really tired from working so hard but excited about what he created. Lot of custom details in the space. Parking. Problem free area. Customers were all types coming from work or winding down with frozen cocktails. I had a good laugh with the lady ordering TWO suic!des! The chicken was crispy like a chicken dinner from church on sunday. Mashed potatoes were homemade like black folks like. Everything was fire and smartly done. I didn’t get it this time but the short ribs are some of the best I ever had. I’m really greatful that they did this. It is really nice to have really nice things on the southside. Five stars ⭐️”

“We waited a long time for this place to open and it was well worth the wait! This is a like a super clean super fresh super fire Panda Express! Nice service from the moment you walk in. The hardest part was choosing the base! The rice and noodles were solid. Best dirty rice in Chicago. Than you have to choose between Bourbon Chicken, Orange Chicken and Mongolian Beef!
