“Great Starbucks but there is also another great local coffee shop across the street. I usually split my time between the two. Both shops are great so you don't really need to pick favorites. I have noticed recently that Starbucks is less packed and has shorter lines so I usually go there. Also online ordering is great when it works but sometimes the app says all of the sandwiches are out of stock when they are not.”

“Went there last Sunday. The place is gorgeous! Beautiful restaurant with creative decor. We ordered the cheese, Italian prosciutto, cheese, olives. The cheese was outstanding, wow. Then we ordered pasta with beef and spinach pasta also. Well crafted, absolutely perfect. The dessert was tiramisu, delicious. Also the wines were excellent. The price was very reasonable also. This will be my "go to" in the northern suburbs.”

“Went to Great Coast for our date night after hearing great things about the new Northshore restaurant. We arrived shortly after 6pm, and the place was packed, we immediately liked the atmosphere, casual elegance with a city vibe. The host was super attentive. After seated, we ordered Monkey Bread and Avocado Toast as appetizers, the Money Bread dipped in herb infused butter is quite addictive, the Avocado Toast is piled with Smoked Salmon and an egg sunny side up, all the flavors were pulled together with spices with a slight kick, hands down the best about-toast I’ve had. For main dish, my husband ordered the burger and I got three vegan tacos. My tacos are fantastic in flavor, perfectly prepared, you can taste the freshness. My husband loved his burger as well. The couple sat at the table next to us ordered the Salmon and Chicken Sandwich, they gave thumps up to their dishes too. Overall, it was a super enjoyable meal, we are very glad to have this new restaurant in the neighborhood, looking forward to going back soon and try other things on the menu.”

“Fantastic update from the original Restaurant Micheal. Great food, kind and energetic staff, and a fantastic atmosphere. Almost all the tables where full all night and the space felt very lively but we still had your space and could easily hear one another. The music was upbeat and varied well. I think was Chef Micheal did in this update was fantastic, each course was incredible, ending with a beautiful desert and good coffee. I highly recommend you attend Aboyer.”

“Glass Windows overlook a beautiful garden as you enjoy delicious healthy food in this environmentally friendly, clean, modern café that surpasses all expectations. The menu is a little pricey but the portions are generous and the quality of the food is so good that you leave full and satisfied. We had the tomato bisque and Caesar salad combination and the breakfast panini and were in heaven with every bite. Worth it! Note: we ordered from the menu, we did not take the ready to go snacks and meals from the refrigerators. Eat in- and enjoy the view !”

“This is a cute spot and very cozy and welcoming. The food was good, especially the tacos which were expensive for tacos but superbly fresh and high quality. The service was meh. Our waitress seemed like she resented being there as did most of the staff apart from the kitchen servers and chef (who I thought came out to serve a dish to another customer). Might have been one of those days. I’d try it again when I am back in Glencoe, which is rare.”
