“Today I enjoyed my best Portillo’s experience ever. I’ve been enjoying Portillo’s for decades but today’s total experience was so perfect it actually inspired me to take the time to write this review. The restaurant was super clean, a greeter who was a friendly character, sped up the process by taking our order while standing in line. He then handed it over on a piece of paper to hand to the cashier. The cashier verified everything was accurate and sent us on our way. The thing that really grabbed my attention was the beef sandwich with hot peppers and dipped, with fries (my usual) was PERFECTLY prepared. And I mean EVERYTHING was PERFECT. Kudos to Portillo’s for not resting on their laurels.”

“Often good food, but some issues I have are: 1) Meat and cheese are cold on breakfast sandwiches (even though the bun and egg are hot). Probably a Panera franchise issue, but still annoying that I have to go and use the microwave before I eat. 2) NOISY! and I don't mean the customers. The business phone (and/or food alarms?) ring and no one answers. It rings incessantly, and excessively loud, for 15-20 times before the person hangs up or an employee answers. AND if you sit anywhere within a 20-foot radius of the pick up counter, you have to listen to the constant buzzing of the pick up buzzer until it shuts off after 2 minutes. But then the next customer comes and you have to be interrupted again. Not conducive to getting any work in.”

“Good food but the place could use a little updating with the decor. Good selection with the menu but I wanted a veal dish and the menu didn't say if it came with a side. I asked our server and he said it didn't, just the veal on the plate. But you get soup or salad. So I ordered the veal dish and a salad. When it was served I got string beans with it. I would rather have had a little angel hair pasta instead of the string beans since I already had a salad.”

“I would say this is one of the best Taco Bell locations in the NW suburbs. Restaurant is always clean and stocked. And the food is always good. I’ve never had half the fillings of my tostada or burrito outside. Never had an order go wrong at this location either in nearly 16 years. I’ll drive out of my way to go to this location. More Taco Bell’s should be like this one.”
