“Pizza Pavia, a recent addition to the Prospect Heights neighborhood, is a delightful pizza place that has a convenient location. One of the highlights of this establishment is its lovely patio, which provides a perfect setting for enjoying the warm summer weather while savoring delicious pizzas. The menu at Pizza Pavia offers a variety of options. We opted for a half pepperoni and half sausage XL pizza. The sausage portion truly stole the show. The pizza was generously topped with flavorful, chunky pieces of sausage that left me feeling thoroughly satisfied. It completely outshines the pepperoni side. As to its thin crust, while some may appreciate its lightness and crispness, I personally prefer a slightly thicker crust with a bit more chewiness. Aside from pizza, we also sampled the wings and a few other appetizers. While they didn't dazzle my taste buds, they were still enjoyable. I also really enjoyed my beer served in a frosty chill glass. The only aspect that could use some improvement at Pizza Pavia is the service. On our visit, the food was served a bit slower than anticipated. However, I believe this is an issue with a new establishment and can be easily addressed, and it doesn't overshadow the overall experience. All in all, Pizza Pavia is a welcome addition to this neighborhood dining scene. Its location and inviting atmosphere make it a convenient and pleasant choice for locals. The sausage-topped pizza is definitely a standout.”

“Today I enjoyed my best Portillo’s experience ever. I’ve been enjoying Portillo’s for decades but today’s total experience was so perfect it actually inspired me to take the time to write this review. The restaurant was super clean, a greeter who was a friendly character, sped up the process by taking our order while standing in line. He then handed it over on a piece of paper to hand to the cashier. The cashier verified everything was accurate and sent us on our way. The thing that really grabbed my attention was the beef sandwich with hot peppers and dipped, with fries (my usual) was PERFECTLY prepared. And I mean EVERYTHING was PERFECT. Kudos to Portillo’s for not resting on their laurels.”

Don't intact much and tend to order online and often slow to get there, but they are always friendly from the manner to the senior workers to the new workers. Never any negative experiences and tend to change the entire dish. “Often good food, but some issues I have are: 1) Meat and cheese are cold on breakfast sandwiches (even though the bun and egg are hot). Probably a Panera franchise issue, but still annoying that I have to go and use the microwave before I eat. 2) NOISY! and I don't mean the customers. The business phone (and/or food alarms?) ring and no one answers. It rings incessantly, and excessively loud, for 15-20 times before the person hangs up or an employee answers. AND if you sit anywhere within a 20-foot radius of the pick up counter, you have to listen to the constant buzzing of the pick up buzzer until it shuts off after 2 minutes. But then the next customer comes and you have to be interrupted again. Not conducive to getting any work in.”

“Good food but the place could use a little updating with the decor. Good selection with the menu but I wanted a veal dish and the menu didn't say if it came with a side. I asked our server and he said it didn't, just the veal on the plate. But you get soup or salad. So I ordered the veal dish and a salad. When it was served I got string beans with it. I would rather have had a little angel hair pasta instead of the string beans since I already had a salad.”
