“The food was all very good. The corned beef had was made fresh, which is very hard to find. It was noisy but it was also Mother’s Day and they were packed. We had a reservation and they sat us right away. They have an espresso/juice/smoothie bar. Today they were on a special menu but that was still very large, two pages! It looks like they updated the decor from the last restaurant that occupied the space. It is light and bright! The patio is nice and big, that will be great when the weather gets nicer! It’s right next to the parking lot. The wait staff was very kind. We would definitely go back!”

“Went here for the first time this Thurs with a party of 8 for a late dinner at 8pm. We were seated right away. And the place is half-packed. We had the premium set which offered seafood and intestine options. Banchans were delicious. Service was excellent. Place was not smoky and well-ventilated. The Strawberry smoothie is supposed to have real fruit chunks but it didn't have it and it was way too sweet. I had to dilute it with water because it was too much. But other than that it was excellent place and will come here again.”

“Pizza Pavia, a recent addition to the Prospect Heights neighborhood, is a delightful pizza place that has a convenient location. One of the highlights of this establishment is its lovely patio, which provides a perfect setting for enjoying the warm summer weather while savoring delicious pizzas. The menu at Pizza Pavia offers a variety of options. We opted for a half pepperoni and half sausage XL pizza. The sausage portion truly stole the show. The pizza was generously topped with flavorful, chunky pieces of sausage that left me feeling thoroughly satisfied. It completely outshines the pepperoni side. As to its thin crust, while some may appreciate its lightness and crispness, I personally prefer a slightly thicker crust with a bit more chewiness. Aside from pizza, we also sampled the wings and a few other appetizers. While they didn't dazzle my taste buds, they were still enjoyable. I also really enjoyed my beer served in a frosty chill glass. The only aspect that could use some improvement at Pizza Pavia is the service. On our visit, the food was served a bit slower than anticipated. However, I believe this is an issue with a new establishment and can be easily addressed, and it doesn't overshadow the overall experience. All in all, Pizza Pavia is a welcome addition to this neighborhood dining scene. Its location and inviting atmosphere make it a convenient and pleasant choice for locals. The sausage-topped pizza is definitely a standout.”

“We've been looking for a great Chinese restaurant in the area. As native Chinese, I'm picky about Chinese food. I was a bit wary since the reviews are mixed but decided to go since the food photos online look good. My husband and I went for lunch on a Sunday. We like the clean place, the traditional Chinese restaurant atmosphere and large window showing the chefs in the kitchen. We tried the egg rolls, spicy soup noodle (noodles hand pulled by the chefs), flat noodle with beef, and string beans. All the delicious we ordered were delicious. If you like spicy food, be sure to ask for their chilly sauce! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful too. We're glad to have found this Chinese restaurant and will definitely go back for take-outs and dining in.”

“Stopped by for lunch on a whim (trying out different places in the area). The food was far better than it had any reason being. The chile chicken sandwich was actually spicy. Imagine, a sandwich at an American restaurant actually being legit spicy. The price is quite fair for the quality of the food. The beer selection could be more interesting, but they have all the basics and a decent collection of IPAs. The only mystery is why I was the only person in the place. Whatever. All for me I guess. “The fresh spring rolls had a crepe-like wrapper when I expected rice paper. I was told these come with peanut sauce, but the sauce was a sticky syrupy sweet sauce, and I do not know what it was. We only received one of two rice packages. I asked for ginger tofu without mushroom, and there were mushrooms, however the dish was very good. The Pad Thai chicken was generally good, except I was told the chicken was a little tough. The red curry chicken I was told was average. The portions were generous. I think that things could improve if the owners read and take seriously sincere reviews.”

“We decided to try this place for something new on our date night, and because Russian (Belarusian) food sounded interesting. When I first walked in, I was really impressed with the decor and atmosphere. It really gives off that cozy, authentic, old world feel which sets the tone for the whole meal. Being unfamiliar with Russian food, I asked our waitress for some suggestions. She was really sweet and helpful explaining the menu. She also gave us some good recommendations. The food came out pretty quickly. Everything I ended up ordering was fantastic, and the price point was reasonable as well. Overall, my experience was really great and I have no complaints. Being a brand new restaurant, I can see they still have some very minor kinks to work out. However, I think they'll be successful, and a part of the community for a long time”

“This place is awesome! I can’t wait to try lunch. I had a perfect Denver omelette, my wife devoured her Florentine eggs benedict and the kids loved their pancakes (as did I 😉). It’s a gem. Great food, quality ingredients, good portions, great service and clean! My wife particularly enjoyed the fresh flowers. A nice touch and a reminder to bring some home to my better half more often. You can tell the owners care. It can’t be easy to open a restaurant in this pandemic with a shortage of staff and rising food costs. We were happy to support a family owned restaurant. We met the daughters, all hands were on deck to help. We’ll be back soon with our appetites!”
