“The food was very good on the buffet. It was certainly worth the cost, so there was very good value for a lunch. I only reduced by one star because twice now I have gone and ended up waiting and requesting that they replenish the buffet as it had run out. If they can do a better job of keeping up with the selection in the buffet, I would certainly raise it to five stars because everything that I had was delicious and fresh. Looking forward to trying it for a sit-down dinner with service as the menu looks promising.”

“What a GREAT place!! Greek food and hospitality at its finest. Went with my family, old and young, the owner made us feel as if we were at his house. His attention to detail was excellent. We are italian and grew up with Greek neighbors, he gave us that same warn welcome feeling we love. He will walk you through the menu if you are new to the experience. I saw him serve a fish whole(not sure which one) it smelled DELICIOUS. He deboned the fish and served table side. Nice presentation. He is a true restaurateur. Well done”

“Came here from the St Charles area on a Saturday in February for lunch with 2 buddies after hitting some balls at the local golf dome. First time for all of us. Super friendly waitress and even the owner Dave came by to give us a genuine welcome. Lots of food choices for a bar menu. Gents sitting next to us recommended the ribs - great choice for all of us. One of us added shrimp to the order and he said the shrimp was great too.. Fall off the bone ribs, good sauce. With a pitcher of Miller Lite on special (chilled glasses), cup of soup, 1/2 slabs for all, side potato, bill came to a very reasonable $53 w/ taxes before a generous and deserving tip.”

“Right around the corner from Itasca train station, this place was great! Food was just what we were looking for. Between us all we had the Split Pea Soup, Denver Skillet, Pancakes, Ham and Croissant Benedict, and the Crab Burger with fries. There are only two things keeping this from 5 stars: 1. It was a bit slow and packed (which we found out later that they had no bus staff), but they did well. 2. The Crab Burger was impossible to eat as a burger. I needed a fork and knife to get a part of it all, but it was cooked perfectly. Tomato was a little over ripe and fries could have been crisper. OBVIOUSLY I'm being extra picky for improvement sake. All in all, a great place, decent portions, fair prices. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.”

“Back in March for my birthday dinner I had chosen to come to the Fox and Turtle Country club in Itasca because I had been there a few times with my mom and the food was really good. It’s a country club but also a really nice restaurant inside, the view is pretty of the golf course and the vibe in the restaurant was more upscale but still felt normal. We had gone on a Saturday night and the wait for a table was not long at all, we were greeted very nicely and taken to my favorite booth in the place. I had ordered my usual (grilled cheese with a side of mashed potatoes). It was delicious as always and my mom had mentioned that it was my birthday. The waiter was very attentive and accommodating. She made sure our drinks were constantly filled and the food came out perfect. When it was time for dessert they had given me a slice of cake with a candle in it and sang to me. It was all very sweet and typical. The cake was great and free! Overall my experience at the Fox and Turtle restaurant was fantastic, employees were great, and my birthday dinner with my family was just how I wanted it. Definitely, recommend this place!”

“This is my favorite review to write! When booking all my wedding vendors, I paid close attention to reviews, so it was important to me to be detailed and open. I can honestly say I had my dream wedding thanks in part to Susie, Gina, and everyone at Itasca Country Club!!!! I had tons of questions, late-night emails, phone calls, changes, and everything in between, and Susie always had advice or an answer for me. If you are looking for a venue that has a coordinator who truly cares that you have the best day, and wants to make sure everything comes together for you, this is your spot. The venue itself is gorgeous. I picked it for a few reasons. The chandeliers and the wall of windows adds so much elegance to the ballroom. The Lyons room was perfect for a ceremony/cocktail hour.I had 170 guests and no one felt crowded. They provided an arch which I was able to decorate, and the addition of the fireplace for my winter wedding was dreamy! Even though I had a December wedding, I still was able to take pictures outside which were gorgeous, and I imagine the pictures in the summer are amazing!! Lastly, the bridal suite is huge and a great spot for the bridal party to hang out and get some peace and quiet before or after the ceremony, or as needed. You might not think you need fireworks at your wedding, but the fact that ICC partners with a fireworks company was a huge selling point for me. They aren't as outrageously expensive as you think, and the fireworks show was awesome! The best part is that you will literally get the most beautiful wedding pictures ever and guests will enjoy the show at the ballroom windows. I can't forget to mention the FOOD. I had multiple guests say it was the best wedding food they've had. Most steaks I have had at weddings are well-done or dry. The filet medallions were pink, juicy, and so tasty. The Itasca Chicken was also a huge hit! Dinner took a bit to get out to everyone, but everyone forgot about that after tasting it...seriously so good. I have to give a major shout out to the coordinator Susie. She is an angel sent from the wedding planning Gods. She helped me get a donut wall (#weddinggoals), answered all my emails and questions within hours, and worked with Gina (also an angel) to set up my wedding perfectly. I literally dropped off boxes of wedding decor, told her my vision, and I arrived 2 hours before the wedding to absolute perfection. If my makeup wasn't done I would have cried seeing it all put together like that. You are in incredibly good hands working with these ladies. They worked so hard to make sure I was happy, and I couldn't have asked for better. I will miss them!”

“First time coming here for a company party. This is a fun and relaxed environment to hang out, hit a few balls, grab some drinks and have fun. We were in the party room downstairs with reserved spaces. The staff was attentive and helpful with drink orders. Food was ok nothing spectacular but I didn’t expect much of that. The golf part was fun- I’ve never been to top golf before and would consider it again. I briefly went upstairs and there was another whole set of spaces for golfers. There were heaters spaced about so you can technically golf in cold weather.”
