“Great frozen custard! Only outdoor seating. Pretty large selection and of course seasonal options! As of early September, they still have the key lime pie custard , which I haven't tried YET, but I am sure is absolutely out of this world. But they are now offering caramel apple 🍎 and surely more seasonal flavors will come out soon! You can also build your own custard! Plenty of parking , and a good spot to chill and enjoy the whether.”

“A cute little place in downtown Glen Ellyn. They have delicious freshly squeezed juice. Their menu options for toasts are intriguing! I tried one of the toasts with pickled carrots, so good! The only thing I'd work on is the bar's food containers. My toast was served in a Styrofoam container, I'd rather see it in a more ecofriendly container. Still, I highly recommend!”

“This is a recently opened restaurant (October 2023) and we are very glad we gave it a try. The food was fantastic -- all three of us were delighted with our meals. We went there for breakfast early on a Sunday morning. The menu has a good variety of familiar dishes as well as unique recipes. I had a California omelet that was unique in that it had brussels sprouts. It was delicious. My wife had a waffle with fruit and ricotta, and she loved it. Our friend had eggs Benedict. Portions are generous. Service was friendly and attentive. The breakfast potatoes are delicious -- I could make a meal out of them alone. This is not a breakfast diner nor greasy spoon sort of restaurant; the food is elevated and gourmet and has pricing to match (it's not inexpensive). But, for the price, they delivered and I'll definitely be back.”

“We went to this new restaurant after recently seeing it mentioned on social media. The food is fresh, tastes great, and I can particularly recommend the Philly cheese steak sandwich. The space is bright and clean, the service team is very friendly, ready to explain each item, if necessary. I can only highly recommend to try this restaurant, you won’t be disappointed. I, for one, will definitely be back to try other menu items. Well done!”

“We tried Rt38 BBQ for the first time this evening. Let me start with the staff Scott Melissa were very friendly and Scott the owner was very nice. They gave us a little bit of everything to try and it was all good. I am quite particular about ribs and I always order dry rub pork ribs when trying a place for the first time because you can cover a lot if they are slathered in sauce. These dry rub ribs were really good they have a really good pull off the bone bite. I also tried the brisket and burnt ends. Both were very good. We will certainly be going back frequently. Dan the only thing I will suggest is to better advertise and say exactly where you’re located on rt38. I am a native Glen Ellyner so knew right where you are, but someone looking for you from a different area may struggle a bit t find you. Thanks, can’t wait to go back.”

“I am a big fan of wings and have eaten wings at many establishments. A friend of mine told me about how good the wings were at Lee n' Eddies so I decided to try them out. I was not disappointed. They were some of the best tasting wings I have ever had! Big, juicy & full of flavor they had it all. I will from now only get my wings from Lee n' Eddies. Their mashed potatoes were also some of the best I have ever tasted as well. I look forward to trying out new things there on my next order.”
