“First off, simply calling this a pizza place does not do it justice. While their pizza is awesome, the rest of their menu and the atmosphere are extremely classy. You could go for an informal hangout just to get pizza, or you could even have a romantic dinner here. The decor inside and the amazing view of the Fox River are great! Met up here with a buddy for a casual hangout. Ordered an app and drinks, along with a pizza. The entire staff (especially our server) was extremely friendly and attentive. When our pizza came, there was an issue with one of the toppings due to a miscommuication on their end. They were very apologetic about the whole situation and put in a new order right away. Since it was a thicker, larger pizza, there was no way to really speed up the cooking time, but they went above and beyond to try and make it right. I'd definitely recommend trying any of Salerno's locations, but this one has been my favorite.”

“Joined a large group. Party was supposed to be around 20 but grew to about 25 or a little more. I understand this can be frustrating to the staff when this happens and it definitely showed. I work in the restaurant business and completely understand both sides. After we were settled in and seated I have nothing but compliments! I wish I knew our servers name because she was a rock star! She executed everything perfectly. The food was delicious. I was really impressed with the entire experience after we were seated.”

“We had our baby shower here, rented out the top floor. Absolutely beautiful!!! The food was incredible (chicken fajita bar) so so yummy. Did a signature sangria drink, and people raved over it. “They smoke their own meats! Used to love the lamb burger they had here but they dropped it from the menu. But try the smoked brisket or their sausages, fantastic. Had the mac and cheese side, it was tasty but didn't notice it was not baked so no crust on top. Just macaroni with cheese sauce, nothing special. I would suggest the sweet potato fries instead as a side, these are great. Also had the charred broccoli, but not fond of charred vegetables so asked for no char. They will make it for you however you like if you ask them. I think they steamed my order, it was just right. Had the Bourbon Mule, very good. So easy to overeat here, make sure to request a take-home box and enjoy it again tomorrow :)”
