“****** UPDATED Within 24hrs of my original review I was contacted by email by the General Manager. I was shocked that I was responded to all...much less so quickly. She went above and beyond to let me know she was sorry for what happened and wanted me as a customer. I was able to enjoy my pizza a few days later and another manager even apologized when I picked up my order. Blown away by how much they care about their customers and I now understand how busy Valentine's day can be for them. Looking forward to enjoying many more pizzas from the Oswego location!!!! Initial Review... I received my confirmation email for my order at 5:21 pm for a 7:00 pm pickup. I arrived at 7:05 and once I got to the cashier I was given my total and I asked for the pizza before I paid. I was told it would be a few minutes until someone could tell me if it was ready. I told him I would like an update in 10 minutes. No updates nothing, finally at 7:25 I went back up and was told they had no idea where in the process my pizza was so I left. I am so glad I did not prepay.”

“The reason I'm not giving a 5 star review is because they put us right at a table by the washrooms and with having a 2 year old in a high chair that was super annoying with constant people passing us. Other then that seating issue, our waitress and other workers were very nice to us. We always had fresh fries and drinks which was nice, plus all our dinners were good. My son also enjoyed the balloons and the chalk boards up front. Overall great experience and we do plan on coming back. Thank you!”

“Normally I would not rate them this high. Usually when I come here in here for a while waiting to be helped. Today 3/13/19 has been by far the best experience i have ever had. All due to a waitress named Pepper! She not only was waiting on the 8 to 19 tables but she was also cleaning tabels and running the register and seating people. I cam in at 2pm and left at 3pm. She was amazing and completely made my day!!”

“Usually a great place to get a quick pizza. Today I requested a pretzel crust with no salt... The receipt says "no PS" the box said custom crust... But my pizza had salt on it... Luckily I checked it before I drove away. I came back in, they took the old pizza, told me they will remake it... No apology... You get what you pay for, I guess ... Ended up they gave me a free bag of crazy bread. Thank you.”

“I stopped on by for a quick breakfast. The restaurant is spacious and it was clean when I visited. The service was good and the food was hot and fresh. If you are familiar with Hardee's, then I would say that this is one of the better ones to visit. They have plenty of food options and plenty of drink options”

“Best Ice Cream Ever!! My favorite is their Chocolate Peanut Butter... A little pricey but well worth it. Their Milk and Chocolate Milk are also amazing. I love that it comes in the glass bottles which keeps the milk so fresh tasting. **Hint** During the winter months grab or make a hot chocolate using their Milk and add a scoop of Chocolate Mint Ice Cream.** I am so happy they have expanded enough that we can buy their products even at grocery stores too.”

“Portillo's is one of those places that you HAVE to get when you're in the Chicago land area. Each location has it's own unique feel to it. My 4 and 2 y/o loved the trinkets hanging from the ceiling, the huge gears, the music, but most importantly the food! They loved the hot dog with cheese fries. I enjoyed half of my bacon cheese burger because my 4 year old had a bite and loved it so I gave him half of it, and yes he ate it up!”

“I believe it's pretty new in Oswego, but the service as terrible. I placed my order online and paid for it so all I had to do was pick it up and go. When I got there they hadn't made it! So I ended up having to wait 15 min for an overdone burger and very salty fries. Definitely not worth the price .”

“I would say 4 out of 5 times that we have ordered, there have been no problems. Good food, good service. Remember, you get what you pay for. Honestly, this is cheap food, so you might expect cheap service. If you want 5 star service, pay 5 star prices. Whenever we do have problems, the management handles it very well and offers us compensation.”

“My family of 5 has been eating at this establishment for a couple of years at least 2 times a week. We love the food! What we don't love is the service. You walk in the door and you are greeted by Daisy, someone who never has a smile on her face, is extremely rude, can't take the time to walk you to a table but instead points to the table, is constantly watching and barking orders at the servers and even fights with the servers in front of the customers! That then brings you to the servers, honestly most have been wonderful except the most recent one we've had named Theresa. Last week, while my family was trying to enjoy our dinner, we witnessed Daisy and Theresa having a spat over sweeping the floor. Theresa was visibly and vocally mad. So much so that she even sat down at our table and discussed that no one likes Daisy or working with her and that she's rude to customers and employees, etc. Probably not something we should have witnessed or later heard about as the customers. Today my husband and I came in for lunch. We asked to sit at a table by the window which there was only one left. We were told no b/c they have to keep that one table open in the event that a group of 5 people came in. Keep in mind that it was close to 2pm and no one was waiting in line to be seated or even in the parking lot! We were offered a high top by the door or a table with a bench. Neither option was appealing to us and we said no we'd like to sit at the table we requested. Theresa said no again and added that she didn't want to get yelled at for letting us sit there. We told her that was unacceptable and that we'd find another restaurant for lunch and walked out. I cannot believe how we were treated. Needless to say Peter @ WILD TUNA was happy to serve us. We will not be back to Sakamoto Japanese Grill & Sushi again!”

“The waitress was beyond attentive. I'd not had Pete's in a couple of years, as I'd moved 5 years ago from having one just down the street. Little did I know, I actually have one, just a few a streets down there is another Pete's. Food was served fresh and hot, and very delicious. Servings were much greater than I remembered and could barely eat half. Most of it came home with me for a couple of left over meals. Yum !!”

“I'm updating my review. I have been back here a few times now. They have improved so much. The servers are so pleasant and accommodating. I am very impressed!!! We came in and stood at the front for a long time waiting to be seated. There were employees walking around all over the restaurant but none of them acknowledged us. Finally someone who I assumed was a manager came over to seat us. We sat down and waited even more. Waiters kept walking past us but again, we were just ignored. After a long time, we got up and walked out. We are now enjoying some amazing food at Olive Garden with great service.”

“Pretty good first experience. Took them awhile to sit us (2) and actually sat other groups before us even if they had arrived later. The food took longer then expected but our waitress was very attentive and any random wait staff that saw we needed anything would easily jump in to help. At the end they offered us free desert for the slow meal and that kind of hospitality wasn't expected. If it's even similar to this every visit I'd fully recommend.”
