“Excellent service by Noel. He was very attentive and made great suggestions. Sat on beautiful spacious patio. Drinks were good. Brandy old fashioned sweet was wonderful. Chopped salad with kale and lots of great vegetables. Perfect to share. Salmon over rice was huge and delicious. Tuna Takati was fresh and spicy. AUGRATIN potatoes were very creamy and good. Enough to share. Nice dessert list. Rhubarb pie with ice cream was delicious. Will definitely return. Noel made dinner fun and comfortable.”

“I had tried the cake from here. But was not a regular. That has definitely change. I get my birthday cakes here now. I like that they have different size cakes. The phrase "good things come in small packages". The flavor in one bite is all you need. As you savor the delicious smoothness ond flavor. My two favorites are the tiramisu and the cheesecake. Can definitely see why they are a little pricier than store bought. The friendlyness of the staff is great, makes you feel like family.”

“This was the second Sushi restaurant i visited while in town on business. The first unnamed restaurant had hundreds of well deserved reviews, but this place was far superior. I had the Fire Tuna roll and the Sashimi sampler and they were AMAZING!! The young man at the Sushi bar (owners son) was very talented and had an obvious passion for what he was doing. This will be a regular stop whenever i am back in town. Thank You for a great experience.”

“We had an amazing time at the wedding we attended! It was a beautiful ceremony, and we had a blast dancing. However, the service and food at this place were both subpar. Instead of serving a whole table's food at once, they would bring out a plate or two at a time. They also majorly screwed up my dish. I put "no corn" on my dietary restriction list, and they made a special chicken WITH corn and a bunch of stuff I couldn't have, so I just had a regular plate, which ended up being fine. I thought it was pretty funny, actually. Everyone at our table was not happy with the service, which is why I'm giving this place 3/5 stars. Also, our food was not hot. Again, we had an incredible time at the wedding overall!!!”

The Bourbon Blue Burger is absolutely delicious with the caramelized onions! Adding salmon or shrimp to a salad is worth the up charge and makes it a wonderful meal. We are already talking about the next time we will go back.”

“We were very excited about trying out this restaurant. Service was nice food was good, but at 9:10 we were informed that restaurant closed at 9 and we would need to exit. We spent $100 a couple that was excluding wine since it’s BYOB. Being asked to leave 10 minutes after closing would have been better received had we been informed of required exit time when we made the reservation.”

Service (3 stars) was marginal because our server kept getting pulled away to deal with unhappy pick-up customers. Desserts and atmosphere make it worth the visit. Would have rated 3.5 over all if I could have. If you live or study locally it beats dealing with the insanity and traffic near Hawthorn mall.”
