“I always come here for lunch and I've had a great experience every time. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. Food is pretty good. It gets a little busy around 12-1pm since all the people come out on their lunch breaks. I did forget my money once and the manager gave me my meal for free which was pretty nice of him.”

“My local "go to" brewery. An exceptional line up of beer and great people to hang out with. The staff are very willing to discuss the inside baseball beer brewing tips that a novice would be interested in, which makes the beer taste even better. They have a relationship with the restaurant next door and we really enjoy their food. A great choice to hang out. They also feature 3 televisions that have sports and movies depending on the night.”

“We came here on a date night with no reservations. It was definitely busy but they got us in right away. We started with some drinks and apps. The duck wings and fried calamari were very good. For dinner, my wife got the saffron shrimp dish, my brother in law the gnocchi, and my sister and I the lamb. All of the dishes were great, but the lamb was amazing. The sauce and potatoes with it were cooked perfectly and the lamb melted in my mouth. It is the best lamb I have ever had. We will definitely be back.”

“I have been in to this restaurant a number of times. When people ask me to describe it they want to know the options and I always tell them get in the car let's go. It's an experience the staff is always friendly the music is always great (vinyl records played through analog speakers) the meat is always fresh and delicious (my favorite is the pork belly) the price is very nice you will spend a bit more with extras but it's great place to take a lunch date or have a nice meal with friends. And the variety of salsas is phenomenal. Good job The Otherdoor team you got a customer for life.”

“I went a few months ago to try the coffee and I was surprised to enter a really small room with just 1 barista behind a counter and all seating was outside. It was very different, but I liked it. The coffee was strong but not bitter like starbucks espresso is often. Cute shop, would be wonderful to come here not mid-winter and enjoy the outside seating. Pricing was a little high but the coffee is superior to SB I rather pay more for quality. Hope to come back to try more things on the menu!”

We spent $100 a couple that was excluding wine since it’s BYOB. Being asked to leave 10 minutes after closing would have been better received had we been informed of required exit time when we made the reservation.”

Service (3 stars) was marginal because our server kept getting pulled away to deal with unhappy pick-up customers. Desserts and atmosphere make it worth the visit. Would have rated 3.5 over all if I could have. If you live or study locally it beats dealing with the insanity and traffic near Hawthorn mall.”

As someone who tries to eat gluten-free and organic, the menu is pretty limiting. The beet salad was definitely the highlight. Went for brunch and had more options with the breakfast food.”

“Absolutely LOVE Sauced. The wings are the best in Lake Forest and the buffalo chicken pizza never fails. Also- regarding John P's negative report of Craig, it is actually an attempt of retaliation after John P got parked in and ever so rudely came into Sauced Pizza screaming cuss words all the way into the kitchen blaming whoever he could find. After profusely apologizing for any inconvenience, Craig moved his car all while being barked and sworn at by John. Only several minutes later, John called placing a threat to leave hateful reviews. Congrats John, our grown adult friend, who hides behind a screen to make himself feel better for acting like a child. Have a good day everyone.”
