“We arrived at 5 sharp on Friday night so we had to wait a few minutes for the staff to prep. We started with onion rings, sorry I didn’t get a picture. There was a bowl full and plenty for two. My wife and I love onion rings however, these were battered and they were a little heavy. We order the Hot Chicken sandwich and Braised Short Ribs. This chicken sandwich was on point. Very crispy, nice heat, good thickness. Pickles were great and really was a nice sandwich. I never thought I would order short ribs, but they came highly recommended. Extremely tender, flavorful, and the two sides that came with it were incredible. One was a kimchi slaw and the other a four grain salad. I highly recommend both dishes. Very happy to see this location back open. Good luck.”

“This morning I had the pleasure of eating at Kick's in the Rout 66 hotel. If you are looking for good Ole fashioned simple breakfast this is the place to come. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, which happened to be my waitress. Very attentive. Order was hot and quick. Will definitely add this to my rotation of places to eat. “I’ve been here twice. The first time was several weeks ago when patrons were only allowed outside seating. It was hot and our table did not have an umbrella but there was a nice breeze. I had the fried chicken sandwich and fries with coleslaw. It was filling and tasty, I could not eat all of it. The breading on the chicken was crisp. The fries were cooked well and crispy. All of the condiments were in packages. We had ice tea which was good. My dining partner, age 10, had a pony shoe which must have met standards because he ate most of it. The Barn had not been open long therefore only one waitress managed the outdoor space and I thought she did a great job. The second time I went alone and sat inside. Nice decor and spacing. There were two tv’s on the wall and thankfully were on silent but I didn’t mind having the distraction since I was alone. I had the roast beef sandwich which was delicious and I’ll definitely be ordering that again. It was perfectly cooked and the toasty bread matched it well. It didn’t have much horseradish sauce but the waitress (same, I can’t recall her name) brought me some more. The horseradish creamy sauce was so good I probably overindulged. I also had macaroni and cheese which was a large portion (I was surprised) but it lacked taste and I put plenty of pepper on it. I think the noodles were a tad over cooked making the texture off. The fries were good, I like mine more crispy (not as good as the first time) and they give you a lot, I had the Mac and cheese so didn’t eat many fries. I ate 100% of the roast beef. Going again soon to try breakfast!”

“Interesting place. Right on the highway may put you off but give it a try. Heaps of memorabilia throughout the hotel and we were impressed at how fresh and clean the rooms were. Probably not the best part of town but the price was good... they have a bar inside that caters small snacks etc pool table and slot machines. Very cool old car out the front and one in the lobby. No breakfast. They have an outdoor pool. Staff were friendly. Would stay again.”

“My family was in Springfield for a baseball tournament. The rain postponed the game for several hours and we were looking for a place to eat lunch. There were 15 of us. The waitress was fantastic and the food was excellent. The cheese curds were delicious. We had wings, the ham sandwich with bacon, and burgers. Everything was excellent. We all definitely return next time we are in Springfield.”

“My Pizza Hut Debacle We Called & ordered pizza, when it didn't come 20 minutes 30 minutes and finally after an hour, we called, they informed me that the delivery driver had come to my house already. I assured him that this was not true and they said they would comp my pizza for free- (It wasn't that easy but I shortened it) So I waited. Another 20 30 40 minutes.. Call back They said they we're not going to deliver my pizza now or at any other time because the delivery driver said that I always do this that I call and make a scene and that he remembers the house he delivered the pizza to and I always order pizza and then don't take it. I said that's impossible who did he talk to? He said he had spoken to a man.. They said he had come to the house and spoken to a man and I said then you went to the wrong house because there was no one there at the time but me and my daughter and my granddaughter- I said The delivery driver is lying to you! they said the delivery driver had worked there a long time and they believe him over me. Found out later that the first delivery he never actually even came to the house but came back to the Pizza Hut and checked in as delivered. The second time he went to the wrong house where of course the people declined the pizza because it wasn't theirs! By then I had ordered a pizza from somewhere else had it delivered and eaten it! I called corporate headquarters and stayed on the phone for quite a while until I spoke to someone who was in charge and explained the situation to them He promptly looked up history & saw what a good customer my daughter was! She works full-time and is in college full-time so orders pizza a lot! He called the store-I don't know what he said to them but they called and profusely apologized & gave me a credit to use at another date. But I was furious! how dare they try to insinuate that we were some kind of terrible people when the delivery driver hadn't even come to my house! The first time he hadn't made the delivery! And the second time he went to the wrong house.. I feel like they just defamed me and put me through a lot of stress- How dare you! (All they had to do was look up my account to see what a good customer I was!) When I went into the store a couple months later my credit was waiting for me NOT! I explained to them who I was and luckily the manager remembered me-probably from her corporate call and gave me what I wanted for free.. I am giving 3 stars because I do like the food”

“It's a Arby's. The inside is usually clean, drive thru is fast. The food is fast food, but they do a good job. The inside has that fast food dated look, but the place is kept up. I like the roast beef sandwiches, and they are nicely cooked and they give me horsey sauce without complaint. It's a good place to go.”
