“Went for dinner. The kiosk method of ordering is not as intuitive as one would think. Almost every party that came in needed assistance from an employee. The food did come out VERY quick and was well prepared. I was a bit annoyed with employees on their phones behind the counter while I waited to pay at the register. “A friend of my husband's suggested we give it a try; so we made it our "date-night" activity. We ordered in advance online and drove an hour to pick-up our order at the Regency. I had a single All American and added bacon. It was so good. The bacon was thick-cut, unlike anything you ever see on a burger these days. In addition to the several dill pickles on the burger, I could taste the dill in the sauce which was a nice consistent flavor even after the bites of pickle were gone. My husband had tried the original Phantom Burger. He said it was "...unbelievably good. It was unparalleled to anything else he has ever had." In fact, he's told everyone we've talked to that they have to try it, and asked for it every night for dinner the week after, so I know he's hooked! I'm sure we'll be heading back to O'Fallon, IL again very soon! Well worth the trip!”

“Since moving from Kansas City area to here for jobs, my husband and I love trying new restaurants and we were on our way to Roadhouse when we had to wait like 30 minutes with a starving 7 year old. Our son can be sometimes rude and blunt and not patient but we decided to try Drake's and we got right in to a seat, great service, and top notch food!! Our server, Candice was AMAZING and put my son's order in first. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave a great presentation!!! We will definitely be back for sure!! The employees were moving very quickly trying to keep up with the amount of orders. The employees remained pleasant our entire 50 min wait while dealing with multiple unhappy customers. Slightly pricey for this side of the river with most meals around $20...more like what you would expect to pay in St. Louis... but it has a higher quality like you would see in the city. The only downside for me was that there was no changing table in either the women's or men's bathrooms...I did not appreciate that as a parent.”

“I ordered the shrimp rolls and I felt like I went to a fancy restaurant. They plated the rolls like professionals and it looked like beautiful art work. The peanut sauce was delicious and tasted homemade. I also ordered the steamed muscles. They were larger than I thought they would be and more than I thought they would give me. The muscles come with this tomato flavored “sauce”, with fresh cilantro. The muscles also had fresh basil on them. When you eat them, so many flavors enter your mouth. I highly recommend sharing your food. I did not share, I ate it all, and I am stuffed. I regret not taking pictures. The restaurant has about 10 tables and 6 stools at the bar. It was not very busy during lunch but their pick up orders were very popular.”

“4 stars because it's a clean establishment, quality is always good and I've never had a problem with the sandwich makers. I used to go almost every Sunday but slowed down to once every month or so because the manager (owner?) would often be there on weekends. The problem is, in his zeal to have a good time and be engaging with his customers he seemed to forget that sometimes people just want a sandwich... Awkward joking around with his staff and annoying attempts to draw every customer into a conversation made you wish the sandwich makers would hurry up. If that happens again it'll be the last time I go to this specific establishment.”

“Fantastic food and service! They didn't get the first order correct last time I went, so put a new pizza in the oven and still gave us the first for free. (My fiance didn't care and just wanted to eat. I wanted the pizza as ordered. We were both happy with the result.) For me, it's not that mistakes are never made, it's how you recover. I appreciated their customer service. This is my fiance's favorite restaurant. He loves the lasagna. My family recently used them for a party in the back room. Great location for the party. They even cut the outside cake we brought in.”

“I tried the winter hash, it's a limited time only item. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was, there was a lot of menu items, and the food was great! My poached eggs were made to perfection. The corn beef hash on the menu is also better than any I've had in years! They also are accommodating to switch out for egg whites for stricter diets. I am well pleased with my visit. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because it was so busy and line reached outside! There is not much more than a few seats, no real waiting area/room. The temps were cold enough to snow outside and my little daughter and I had to stand in the cold. ***Update: I went in again and ordered the French toast with cinnamon butter. It was amazing! Also, no wait today. We had a wonderful experience!”

Buns were soft, meat was fresh, roast beef was a little too salty so my husband couldn’t finish it, menu was clean and simple, and price was on the “higher” side for “fast food” but definitely worth it. $14-15 for a roast beef meal, turkey sandwich & fries. Went through the drive through but everything looked very clean.”

They have great servers, the staff goes above and beyond to make sure the water is filled, no extra plates left on the table, making sure what we ordered is up to the standard. The wait staff knows the menu very well and had suggestions for me based on my likes and dislikes. The bartenders also make great drinks. This is a great place to go if you want a fancy restaurant or if you have family in town and want to treat them to an amazing meal.”
