“The main man is reason for the very best pizza I have experienced in ALL Chicagoland. Pizza - I ordered thin crust, with sausage and mushrooms. The pizza was esoteric full blown Italian old world cuisine at its best. The crust was clean and gentle to the touch crunchy perfectly baked to a tongue breakable delightful perfection. The sauce was of a clean robust flavor which was outstandingly delicious and not overburdened with too many spices. Perfection ! ! ! The cheese was full bodied yet light at the same time which allowed for a beautiful non clumping, non stringy but very tender delight for my tongue. The Italian sausage was incomparably seasoned to the Italian Sicilian Calabrian connection of Olympic Gold Medal perfection. The Mushrooms were thinly sliced to enhance the essence of all the magnificent subtle flavor combinations presented. What my Great Grandma said to my Great Grandpapa was "Oh Papa, lets do it again" . . . RED STAR is easy to remember because it is a fabulous 5 STARS”

“This is the second time we have been to this location and the food is excellent but the service is so poor. We were parked outside for curbside and waiting but no one ever came out so I met the girl delivering outside for another party and asked her for our order. She said if it was up I would have brought it out. So I followed her inside and there it was sitting on the counter. Then I asked for sauce on the side and she said we don't do that with no apology.”

“Went on Valentines day and the wait was outrageously long over 2 hours, but the table turnaround time was so short. The hostesses were getting people in and out so quickly it was awesome to see. “Never been to this location. Was very clean, organized, and up to Panera’s standards. Worked for other Panera for years and this one lived up to the expectations of “food as it should be.” Staff was educated on the products, very friendly, and worked fast and efficiently. Food was great and dining area was constantly attended to staff and very clean. Vibe of staff was welcoming and I highly recommend this location!”

“I've been coming here for years with my family. I was introduced to the place by a coworker and I dined in one time when it was 5.00 for a jumbo slice of pizza and a pop. The price went up a little bit but still damn good pizza and different varieties vary by day. Cheap enough to feed my 3 kids and the staff was very nice about changing the TV so my younger children could watch a video or cartoons while they eat. What more can I say? I love this establishment!”
