“Cozy place right on Schmidt. I ordered a little over an hour before they close for takeout, but walking in everything looked very clean and I was immediately greeted. I ordered the dumplings and Plov. The dumplings are HUGE and quite flavorful. The red sauce they give with it is nice (make sure to order extra). The filling was delicious and the dumpling had a nice, chewy texture. The Plov was amazing. It had quail eggs, bite-sized pieces of boneless lamb, shredded carrots, tender cloves of garlic, a fresh side salad, and raisins (or at least a very close relative of the raisin). The lamb was succulent; took very little effort to chew and had no gamey taste at all. The quail eggs were a nice surprise; I’ve never had quail eggs and was nervous but it tasted just like chicken egg. The shredded carrots and raisins added a little sweetness which was welcomed. A side salad can make or break a meal, and the side salad was fantastic. The tomatoes were firm yet juicy, the cucumbers were crisp and cool, and the onions and herbs were very fresh.”

“I ordered ahead using the Charley's mobile app. When I got there about 10 minutes later my order was bagged and ready to go! This was my first time at Charley's and I'm very impressed. I tried the Chicken Philly (regular size) and was so impressed when I opened the box at home. The toppings were piled on a generous amount of chicken. It was hard to know where to grab to start, even though the sandwich had been cut in half already. Great seasoning on the chicken and with the typical toppings (lettuce, tomato, cheese, onions, pickle) it just popped. I also ordered the Original Fries (large size) and am very happy with them. Every one of them was golden-crisp and hot, like they'd been made fresh for my order. Nicely salted, a good side to my Chicken Philly. I am definitely coming back here, and next time I am going to try the boneless wings, because those sound fantastic as well!”

“I was feeling very under the weather and wanted something that’ll give me a boost. I’ve always wanted to try ramen in the suburbs because I’ve lived in the city for most of my adult life and Bolingbrook FINALLY has gotten on board with diversity. I was greeted by a younger guy and he helped me put together a nice ramen bowl since I don’t eat pork. I ordered the Kim & Fried Chicken Ramen and substituted it with the vegetable stock. It was so flavorful and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The Kimchi had a nice spicy kick to it. Portion size was definitely enough for two people to share! I also got the shrimp dumplings and they were mini and sorta bland, wouldn’t get it again. However, the sauce it came with was really good so it made up for the blandness when dipped in sauce. I ordered to-go but once I saw how nice the inside was, I regretted not dining in! It’s so pretty and bright and clean inside and they offer a water stand with cups so you can self serve. When my order was ready the nice girl gave me a free Milk Tea and it was actually my favorite flavor. I appreciate her for that, she was adorbs. I’ll definitely be coming back. I think my total was around $24? Good prices for the quality in my opinion.”

“I waited a long time for good tacos, and I must say that the new Romeoville Cilantro exceeded my expectations! “The main man is reason for the very best pizza I have experienced in ALL Chicagoland. Pizza - I ordered thin crust, with sausage and mushrooms. The pizza was esoteric full blown Italian old world cuisine at its best. The crust was clean and gentle to the touch crunchy perfectly baked to a tongue breakable delightful perfection. The sauce was of a clean robust flavor which was outstandingly delicious and not overburdened with too many spices. Perfection ! ! ! The cheese was full bodied yet light at the same time which allowed for a beautiful non clumping, non stringy but very tender delight for my tongue. The Italian sausage was incomparably seasoned to the Italian Sicilian Calabrian connection of Olympic Gold Medal perfection. The Mushrooms were thinly sliced to enhance the essence of all the magnificent subtle flavor combinations presented. What my Great Grandma said to my Great Grandpapa was "Oh Papa, lets do it again" . . . RED STAR is easy to remember because it is a fabulous 5 STARS”

“One of the newest Halal/Indian/Pakistani restaurants in Bolingbrook. Located right behind the mosque in a strip mall. Restaurant is family owned and run by couple from Hyderabad (India). Although it’s a small restaurant with limited seating, it’s we’ll keep, clean and organized. There is plenty of parking. You will place the order at the front desk and then either have a seat there or do carry out. Food is pretty good. I ordered their chicken biryani, butter chicken and mirchi salan with naan. All the food was excellent. They have vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Non vegetarian options are mostly chicken related. They have limited BBQ options. Pricing is reasonable and service is good. I would recommend this place for your takeout orders.”

“My daughter and I went for happy hour. We sat at the bar high top tables. First, I LOVE they include a table light at each table for better visibility and cute ambience. Our server (and I feel terrible for not remembering her full name), I think it was Mar for short (long dark hair with 2 pony tails and has worked there for 2 yrs) was amazing!! Good service is sometimes hard to come across lately but she gave excellent service. Not only was she very attentive but had a very genuine and friendly personality. We both enjoyed our time (can’t beat the Happy Hour pricing) and will definitely return. (I’m hoping this review makes it to you “Mar” as you definitely deserve to receive the shoutout!).”

“First time at this place, meeting up with some friends. It’s awesome! Big indoor space and outdoor seating as well. Menu has plenty of great options, bar has tons of good drinks. Our service was great; friendly server who was on top of everything. I had a fantastic cheeseburger with bacon & egg, my friends had the hot chicken sandwich and chicken tenders appetizer. Everyone loved their food. I highly recommend this place!”
