“So this place has really good pizza, but only when there’s chicken on there. Today we ordered pizza and they didn’t have any chicken. It was a bummer, but decided to try the wings. It wasn’t “hot”, just dry unflavored wings. Tossed in my own sauce at home and it was great. Service was alright. We got our order at the end of the day, but we recommend you order like an hour ahead of time or show up like 10 minutes after they tell you your food is going to be ready. We had an extra wait time when were there. Probably only coming back for pizza. That’s all. Attached is an updated menu, we couldn’t find menu pricing anywhere except for the old menu.”

“First time at this place, meeting up with some friends. It’s awesome! Big indoor space and outdoor seating as well. Menu has plenty of great options, bar has tons of good drinks. The service is kind and they go above & beyond. The food is phenomenal. Cooked to perfection!! The price point is right on par and well worth every penny. I love how avocado comes on the torta, without my needing to ask. The salsas taste homemade. Unlike many places that may have a chemical taste due to mass production. We split a horchata, which I’m glad we did as the jar it was served in had plenty for two! We are already planning when to go back.”

“I have been going to Yalla for several months now, and I am convinced it has the best and freshest food in the SW area. I have had food catered, eaten there and ordered take out. Everything is great, but perhaps the highlights for me are the spicy green hummus, red pepper hummus, chickpeas and lentils, traditional steak wraps and the Jerusalem salad. Both rice options are extremely flavorful. I don’t find the spicy rice too spicy like their spicy sauces. The habanero sauce is unlike any other hot sauce I have ever had. I always look forward to making up a reason or errand to drive twenty minutes to go to Yalla.”

Met the owner who was an absolute doll & very kind. The tater tot’s are not some thing I would normally order, but I am absolutely so glad I did. The cheese steak was delicious and I ordered it with toasted garlic sub instead of the plain bread. The Twinkies… Oh, my God, the Twinkies were amazing! I would recommend stopping in here for lunch. “*Edited* Came back to Duke’s roughly a year after it opened to give it another shot. The food seems completely different, in a much better way! The beef has flavor and the fries were hot, with a crunchy outside and a soft inside. My kids and I have returned an additional 4 times in the last two weeks. *Original Post* Duke’s was one of my favorite jobs in high school and I remember it being a lot better. Fries felt like they were old and warm, absolutely no salt on them. Ordered a beef w/ moz dry and got it wet. Maybe it’s cause the place just opened up a few days ago and they don’t have everything down yet.. Not sure but I’ll give it another try a few weeks from now.”
