I ordered the stacks burger, which was wonderful and unique, but the standout for me was the cookie skillet dessert. Very highly recommend. “It's a quaint little restaurant with hours till 3 pm (I believe), because the menu focuses on breakfast. The prices can't be beat. My go-to special is the ribeye steak and eggs. The cut and marbling of the steak is AMAZING for the price. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy is thick enough and just spicy enough as well. There is also a stuffed pepper soup that I would recommend.”

“The restaurant is clean and inviting. The service is good. The concept is perfect. But the food misses the mark. I tried burnt ends, ribs, cabbage soup, chicken, pulled pork, and salmon. The BBQ lacks the appropriate qualities of slow cooked meat. I'm not sure how they're preparing the BBQ, but it's not with a smoker. The burnt ends were the appropriate consistency and flavor; those and the soup were the best things I tried. But this is a BBQ joint, and no smoke rings or deeply imparted slow cooked meat flavors indicates a problem. The food is passable, the sauces are delicious, but it ain't BBQ.”

“Been at this Burger King many times and it's always good.... Nice location, very friendly service, I mean what else is their, it's Burger King..? You know what your getting at the Burger King and still my favorite is "The Double Whopper"...! I have had my order messed up when I've went through the drive through a couple times so I would suggest checking it before you drive away but mistakes do happen and if you call and let them know they always will honor you with a free meal on your next visit...! And if you have kids, they have a nice play area to keep them occupied....All in all 5 Stars for the Valpo BK...!”
