“08-19-2019 Around 1900H CDT, i Ordered the best thing on the menu, the grilled steak burrito. I told them to use the same steak as the one in the ribeye & shrimp dish. The burrito I must say, was quite light on the meat, but was pretty filling. I don't know what grade of steak they use.....but, I was expecting it to be more flavorful. The green hot sauce was good. Overall it was fine, but not quite worth the $16 bucks it cost me. That was a bit steep. The gal that took my order was nice. Giving this restaurant a ...???? ???? ???? ½.”

“It’s what you would expect from a Burger King in an up and coming district. Friendly staff, hot food. It would be nice to see an extensive remodel. The inside seems a bit too “plastic”. It’s also connected to a gas station/ convenient store that has definitely seen better days. This place would definitely get all five stars if the physical presentation of the building matched the awesome service and overall good food provided by its staff.”

“So happy to welcome this to Waterloo and the Cedar Valley. I hope it goes over as well as it deserves to! Fantastic Kombucha. Fantastic service. Fantastic food and selection. Can't wait to continue trying new drinks and menu items. Owner is such a nice guy and is right on the floor with the staff. Kombucha cocktails should be the new all day drink. They could easily take the place of mimosa mornings and mojito afternoons for anyone looking to brunch. Well done, team.”

“If you like spicy jalapeno's this is your place. Had the fish and chip with coleslaw. The coleslaw was spicy not a fan. Boyfriend had the street taco's and had trouble because the jalapeno's in that were super hot as well and he likes spicy food! Beer wasn't for me but my boyfriend like it. Price was on average around $12 and up a dish.”

“We were a little skeptical when we first pulled up, but we were pleasantly surprised! The food was amazing, service made you feel right at home. The portions were huge, and it was an all around good experience. The food was a bit pricey, but for the amount you got it was worth it! It seemed like everyone knew everyone which was a nice feeling. We will definitely be back.”

“What a great dining experience! Excellent all the way Four course dinner for $30. More expensive than we usually pay, but food was delicious and the experience was worth every penny. Highly recommend the lobster/salmon ravioli. So good. So was the creme brulee for dessert. You are not rushed, service and pace of course presentation was exceptional! And the owner is a hoot. So funny outgoing and friendly. Highly recommend...especially for special occasions”

“Very nice place. Atmosphere was nice except maybe just a tad too dark. Wait staff was very friendly and helpful. For such a nice place as far as decor and the way things were set up was very surprised and somewhat disappointed in the fact that one of the hostesses had on jeggings. This did not match the with anything else in the entire place. I know small and insignificant but very noticeable. My wife had a small problem with her food, however it was taken care of very quickly and apologetically. Only complaint on that part from me was, we were told the manager was personally making my wife a new dish, but they never came out to speak to us about it. Our waitress did handle everything wonderfully but would have liked the manager to come and address it with us also.”

“Best subs in the cedar valley. Nothing else even comes close. The subs are huge and loaded with toppings. Makes you feel like you're actually getting your money's worth. The staff is excellent as well, never had a bad experience yet.”

“5 stars for a Americana experience. This venue made me feel I was in a Dennis Hopper painting. The food was good. Not a greasy spoon but not fine dining. The deserts (bread pudding, berry strudel) they make themselves (hint: ask for ice cream!)”

“The food is incredible. I had some greens that were so amazing! I’ve been there twice and both times was very satisfied. The first time I had the catfish. It came with 2 huge catfish filets beautifully breaded and seasoned. The second visit I had the wings and fries. I’ve always preferred my wings naked but these were lightly breaded and so good! My only gripe is the sauce containers. They are one ounce cups that have very small openings and are actually quite easy to tip over. I was only given one for my two generous filets and it was hard to dip it in the tiny container. Same story with the wings. I’d suggest the more traditional containers with a wide base and wide opening. Either way I’ll be back!!”

“It might have been 5 stars on a different night, but they were absolutely swamped for Irish Fest. While most of the servers were going above and beyond to make things better, the overall lack of organization made it very difficult! I'd give the wait staff an average of 6 out of 5 (and one young man was easily a 7!). Without them, I'd give the experience around a 3. Unfortunately, there are some serious accessibility issues! The friend I was with is in a wheelchair, and was COMPLETELY unable to ENTER the restroom, much less use it! Finally, the food was easily a 5, and I would love to eat there again - on a slower night, in different company.”
