“I visited there last week for the first time, and it definitely won't be my last. The friends I was with suggested eating there, and I had misgivings about going to a buffet during a pandemic. But there were gloves supplied at the buffet line, and we were able to sit at a distance from others. The staff was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, even offered to bring us dessert. I had mint chocolate chip ice cream, which was delicious. The food is awesome, their macaroni and cheese, and pot roast were my favorite. The price is very reasonable. Will definitely return there soon, as I just moved to Boone. Glad this place is nearby.”

Perhaps the sliced meats are juicier, but we both got the "pit bits" platter with chunks of meats. The brisket was tough and dry. The pork loin and ham were the best. Rib bits had good flavor but a hard bark. The staff were the shining star of the night.”

“It's hard to find good pizza down south were we've been for the last few months. As we travel for work. (from Wisconsin )And Nothing compares to a good pizza....well this place was so dam good. The crust was AMAZING....I loved the sausage and the cheeses so super yummy. Staff was very polite and hospitable they asked a couple times if we'd like a ice water while we waited for our carry out. Most places won't do that. A definite must try if your in the area. Old school for sure???”

“If you're gonna pay $9.00 for a fast food meal, you may as well go to Burger King, and at least get your money's worth. The restrooms at the Boone, Iowa store could be better attended to. But the dining area was very clean, and service was pleasant. I'd most certainly eat here again.”
