They have good specials too but It's just that the few waiters there tend to be rude or just look upset which can bring your mood down. And some of the food also tends to seem a bit pricey as well. And expect it to be very pricey for 4 - 5 people unless you're very cautious and order something cheap. Overall it's a decent restaurant for this tiny Town.”

“We didn't stay here, we ate here. The food was amazing. My husband and daughter had a full rack of ribs and the meat just falls off the bone, it's so tender. The flavor is great and the service was friendly too. The prices were good. It's got a great, historical atmosphere, with wide plank flooring and a tin ceiling.”

“Local joint on the water. Food is average, Chicken sandwich was simple but good. Sloppy joe was exactly that. Fries were way under cooked and soggy. You order at a window and take your number to wait for someone to yell it out, to then go get your own food. Inside the building seemed to have no air conditioning at all and was not very clean. Outside was almost as hot and no fans and most tables have no umbrellas either. It's super bare bones and only serve beer. Will try another restaurant next time for sure! Good view of the river though.”

“Very good food, felt it took longer than needed, the cook seemed to have disappeared when our order was placed. The funny part was, the police chief showed up, and his food was brought to him as soon as he sat down. No grudges here. President Obama ate a meal here during his second campaign. The chair he sat in is noted and a newspaper story on the wall gives details. The staff back then recognized the scouting person as having visited a month before the stop.”
