“We ordered online at 4:30 pm on Saturday afternoon a taco pizza for pickup at 6 pm. I picked it up at 6, and saw the associate retrieve the pizza from the TOP of the oven, not from the oven or warmer. When we got home we found the pizza wasn't even slightly warm, and the crust was tough, likely from sitting too long. This was the first time I'd had Casey's taco pizza, after family had raved about. It probably is good when hot and fresh, but not cold and tough. Update: I've changed my earlier three-star review to five stars, as Casey's made it right and provided a free replacement pizza after I reported our experience. The supervisor I talked with said he remembered the order, as it came in online during a super busy evening with a high volume of pizza orders. The "make it right" response seems to be standard policy.”

“Their $5 menu is what keeps us coming back! My son loves their Pan Cheese Pizza & bread sticks. My husband and daughter love their pastas and wings. It's fairly inexpensive to feed our family here. I would've given a fifth star if they did better with their drive thru. Twice we showed up when it said it would be done, but it wasn't even in the oven yet. Many other times we've had to sit and wait F-O-R-E-V-E-R behind someone whose food was not done while ours was just sitting waiting in the warmer. Several times, after 10-15 minutes I gave up waiting and went inside... Only to wait another 5 minutes for someone to help me at the counter. People whose food is not done should be made to pull back around or park so people behind them can get their stuff before it's nasty!”

Loved that she genuinely talked to my daughter like she meant it not just because she thought she had to. She really made my daughter feel special. “A great restaurant which gave me the opportunity to broaden my teenage grandson's horizon as he'd never eaten Greek-inspired foods before. I had intended to take him to the local Maid-Rite beforehand to introduce him to an Iowa specialty but was treated rather rudely (see my review of the Marshalltown Maid-Rite) and then found this unknown-to-me great restaurant where I was able to introduce him to delicious foods from another culture. We enjoyed it so much we have returned several more times since. Attentive wait staff, delicious authentic meals (I've been to Greece several times and know the cuisine quite well), and priced well. What more could you ask for in the middle of Iowa?”

“The service was excellent! The food tasted amazing! The atmosphere was romantic and sophisticated. If you're looking for fine dining in Marshalltown, this is the ONLY restaurant you should consider. It is expensive, but worth every penny. Everything was clean, from the booths to the bathrooms, and the utensils to the plates. The owner, I assume, actually took the time to personally thank us for dining there. He assisted my husband with choosing Scotch, first letting him try one in the middle of sweet and oakie, then suggesting the best one based on what my husband thought of the sample. We were made to feel welcome and comfortable. Our waitress was the best waitress I've ever had anywhere, hands down. I just can't stop gushing about how great our experience was there. I highly recommend this fine eatery!”
