“My wife and I stopped in for lunch today. Comfort food from days gone by still being served up and the service was spot on. My wife mentioned we had never been here before but always wanted to stop. Our waitress and the other waitress both welcomed us . Hearing welcome to the family from the two of them really made our day. “Sometimes simplicity is best. Their hot and ready pizzas are nothing special but are a great value for what you receive. I do like their crust and tomato sauce. Nothing I hate more than a pizza dripping in too sweet tomato sauce. Their specialty pizzas are very good. They're generous with toppings and it makes for a delicious pizza. I wish they had a breakfast pizza. I could eat breakfast pizza anytime of day.????”

“Loved this spot! Plenty of room to grab a table and play a game. There was live music when we went that wasn't distracting and added to the overall ambiance of the space. Easy spot for food since there are so many options I doubt people will have a hard time finding something to eat! Not to mention all of the drink options as well. Great that they have a full bar since not everyone in our group was a huge beer fan.”

“We had made reservations a couple months ago for 30 people for 5 pm on Sunday. Contact had been made several times to confirm. When we arrived, they had not reserved tables for us and did not seem to know we were coming. They informed us the kitchen was closing (even though it's posted that they are open until 10 pm with the kitchen open until 9) A craft show was in the process of closing down and there was still a good number of people there. After complaining, they agreed to leave the kitchen open until 6. We ordered onion rings, chicken, mushrooms, and brussel sprouts. They were extremely salty. They did make a decent cocktail. At 7 pm were were basically ushered out when they dimmed the lights, cleared the liquor out of the bar and shut off the TVs. Overall, a very disappointing experience, we will not return.”

“My favorite place to get the "old fashioned" donuts (the plain cake ones, no toppings). When I go its usually around 5:30 am and it's not crowded that early. I'm not a coffee connoisseur so can't comment except occasionally I'll get a coffee/mocha drink and I just tell them to make it sweet and it works for me.”

“El fogon is great for a quick lunch or date night. I like to get their tacos or fajitas because their handmade tortillas are so yummy. Their food is very flavorful. The stone ground guacamole is the best I’ve ever had. Margaritas are awesome! And their staff is stellar! That’s a big reason why I keep coming back. They’re so nice and give wonderful service. “CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMAZING. Not sure why all these people are commenting on it. I’ve been coming to this location for 3 years and counting only because the customer service from the employees is amazing! They are always friendly and ready to help you with whatever you need! I have never had any problems here. On Christmas there was an employee last year who hand wrote happy holidays and put it in all of the customers bags all day. The type of compassion and small talk they provide isn’t found at any other gas station! The people who are saying they are rude and careless probably are the customers who are snobby and assume this place is like a quick trip.”

“It would do them well to improve their street presence. Even using Google Maps I drove right by this place. Inside is a warm and inviting dining room and friendly staff. I ordered takeout 15 minutes before they closed lunch, but they assured me it was no problem. The Tom Kha soup and green curry were delicious and the heat level was exactly as ordered. A nicely sweet apple, sausage, onion, sweet peppers and an excellent tomato sauce. My wife and step-mother both had the Made-right on Texas toast. Apparently it was very tasty as there was little left over. I very much enjoyed the coffee! The young lady who served us was very pleasant and attentive. By the time we left shortly after 12 the tables were nearly filled so reservations are probably a good idea.”

“I grew up mostly in California, so it's rare to find Mexican food out here in the Midwest that can hold a candle to west coast cuisine, but you're in luck! The food here is basically the "fast food version" of more traditional Mexican restaurants, but it's amazingly good and very affordable. I highly recommend dropping in and trying them out, I had the shrimp burrito. Also I had it twice since I came back the next morning for another, make sure you order some chips because they have a fully loaded salsa bar.”
