So if you want to work here or have a conversation here, you might want to expect a bar atmosphere instead of a coffee shop atmosphere. I can't really speak for the food (just had coffee), but it seemed pretty overpriced to me. The coffee was decent though? So I guess that's cool. It doesn't seem like a bad place, just having it be an exposed metal echo chamber setup was a poor choice.”

“Good breakfast bagels but as a sort of tourist it was confusing to find. If you’re visiting and wanting to come here to eat, enter the building with the Burger King and go up to the second floor. When you go up, you will see a single corridor (skywalk) go the opposite direction. Keep walking and the restaurant will be on the left. The sandwiches are hot and they have caribou coffee.”

“Panera is always a good standard pit stop for a nice lunch that isn't FAST FOOD! We were in town for soccer, between games and wanted something that wouldn't just be a gut rot for our players. The salads and soups are a sure bet to fill you up and are always generous in their portion size. Not the first and certainly not the last Panera that we'll visit! Delicious breads and pastries to eat in or take out. Soups, salads, sandwiches. All in a pleasant downtown environment across the street from the Hotel Fort Des Moines.”

You'd think I was 520 lbs. with all the food places I've reviewed, but NO....180 and 5'9...Don't do much Fast Food anymore. the food is pretty good but customer service is bad and they act like they don't care and give the wrong food items. “Ate here with my son during a busy lunch hour. We have had mixed experiences at this location in the past. This trip, it was wonderful! Both sandwiches & fries were hot and fresh and prepared very quickly. The manager on duty was wonderful. The person taking orders was either new or very slow at her job but the manager was right there helping out and helping her with no complaints and a smile on her face.
