“I am not a Chinese food expert, but have eaten at many Chinese restaurants. Bo Lings is the best of those I have tried in Kansas City. It's more expensive but like I said, it is much better than cheaper places. I'm pretty conservative in my Chinese tastes, so I usually order the Cashew Chicken. My friend likes the Shrimp and Chicken Hunan. Dine in and carryout both offer excellent service.”

“I had not eaten Japanese food for 30 years because my last experience with tempura was not a good one. We went to Sawa on 03/01/2020. The owners are very nice people. I had hibachi shrimp/scallops and it was some of the best food I've ever had. I will definitely go back. I could eat it every day. We also had calamari and soft shell crab. I am not a fan of calamari but even that was good too. !!!”

Granted, sometimes you may have to wait to be seated or served but in what Good restaurant in Kansas City don't you have to wait? In my opinion Sushi Gin serves the Best Sushi at the Best prices in the Kansas City area. The servers have always been kind and friendly to me and my Friends. When you're kind to people, they're going to be kind to you. I visit Sushi Gin minimally Once a week and some times 2 or 3 times a week because sushi is good for my health. “The Tropical Smoothie Cafe is well themed, has an open and inviting layout, has helpful and friendly staff and good quality smoothies. I had the berry oatmeal smoothie, which was a dark purple with a potent flavor that was stronger than I expected - enjoyable. They have a variety of sandwiches which look good, but I didn't have because I was there mid afternoon. Having more food options is a definite upgrade from my usual Smoothie King. I do like my usual Island Impact at Smoothie King better than my one try at Tropical Smoothie Cafe, but it is good to have good options and one day I may find a smoothie at TSC that I like even better. This calls for more sampling!”

“Excellent food! Very nice and clean restaurant. They have a busy lunch crowd and it can be hard to find a place to park. They do carry out but no delivery. Everything I ate was excellent. I had the beef with green bean lunch special it came with fried rice, soup and choice of rangoon or eggroll for $7.15 after tax. I highly recommend this place.”

“Jen Jen’s offer a more authentic Chinese food taste than most of their counterparts in the area. Although I’ve never been to China, the closest authentic Chinese food I’ve tasted were in Taipei and Los Angeles’ Chinatown. My favorite is the pork spareribs in spicy salt...not too salty but savory and crunchy. Their soup for 2 is served piping hot and could serve 3-4 people really. Their lomein is equally flavorful. When I go back, I’ll definitely try the lobster and the crab dish. I just happen to see it as the server passed by my table on the way to the lucky diner. The only reason it’s a 4 star is that their ambiance could use a bit of freshening up to look and feel more inviting.”

For "fast food" this place surprised me in quality and variety of selection. So far, it is the only Asian restaurant that qualifies as fast food and does not lack in flavor or quality that I have experienced so far. If you are in the mood for a good, quick, asian cuisine meal this is a good place to get it.”

“Eat here often when visiting KC and staying at the Comfort Inn and Suites around the corner. Great food and nice atmoshere. It was very close to our hotel so we came for dinner. I was surprised at how reasonably priced the food was. It was also very good, service was great! Our waitress offered to hold my infant so I could eat because she was fussy. The wings were a tiny bit bland but all in all it was an awesome experience.”

“I really enjoyed my first visit to this Kansas City location. Right away, the decor drew me in, and the dinning area was immaculate. Sandwiches were awesome, I had the hook and ladder while my friend had the steamer. Both had great whole wheat bread, and the hook and ladder sandwich had a really nice sauce with it. However, there was a super fun, hot sauce open bar so you can add your own twist! Staff was professional, service was fast, and I liked that a staff member came to our table to ask how our meal tasted. Great selection of items plus soup and salad. We spent $14 on sandwiches and drinks. One important difference here, they are a Community Contributor, which I liked. Check it out!”

“This was my first visit to a Carrabba's and can say hands down it's way way way better then Olive Garden....it puts Olive Garden to shame. Food is incredible and actually cooked without using microwave ovens....the kitchen is open and in plain view. But the best part of my first visit was that Kristen G is a phenomenal waitress and Roger is a great manager that is out talking to customers, rare these days in chain restaurants. I commend him for praising a new employee on a great job today, I walked out...more like rolled out from the big portions of food...knowing this is one of those rare restaurants that cares about people and employees. I will easily return on my next trip back to Overland Park.”

“Great fun and affordable place for a child’s birthday party! They recently remodeled and the design is very good for younger children who really enjoy it. I only give it four stars because they are notorious for having bad ticket prizes compared to a few other places. My daughter had a lot of tickets and she really enjoys picking out all the junk she gets from them, she doesn’t like that part as much here. However, we did buy a party pack providing her friends coins tickets pizza and everything and we had many parents come up to us saying the kids were having so much fun with so many tokens. we thought the package was very affordable and she has 12 friends come. Thanks everyone for helping Eva have a good birthday. ????”

Somebody had brought Meshuggah Bagels into work for their breakfast. I had to go and eat there. 100% worth it. They have many bagel varieties. The best part, the cream cheese selections. It's not waiter service. Price is average. I love going to d'Bronx! They have a wide assortment on their menu from deli sandwiches to pizza to calzones. All are excellent and the hardest thing is to decide what you want. Great place for lunch or a light dinner.”
