“Wonderful experience. Proprietor/ chef / owner (?) was very helpful with my wife's allergies, and all the staff was terrific. Food was really tasty. I had the voodoo gumbo. I must admit, having grown up on the Gulf Coast to the Cooking Cajun and the joy of good roux, I was expecting to dislike the red sauce of the gumbo. Had I been paying attention to the flavors that were there rather than the flavors I expected that were not, I would not have needed the chef to explain that she'd been trained in the Caribbean. Wonderful food. Not a traditional Cajun gumbo but really worth eating. Definitely will go again.”

“What a fun corner cafe! Excellent staff were buzzing through the diner this morning when we visited around 10am. It was busy, but there were open tables and we were seated right away. We got coffee and two huge breakfast for about $20 bucks. The food was great and we ate some of the best biscuits and gravy we’ve ever had! Yum!! We will have to come back to try the pie! It looked delicious as well!!”

Chicken fried steak was a little greasy but good, chips and queso were average but chips were stale. Chicken salad was great. “This place has phenomenal food and great local beer. Their homemade beer cheese is only $3 and comes with delicious seasoned kettle chips. Totally worth it! I had the classic grilled cheese with Gouda and mozzarella plus guacamole and my side was sweet potato chips. I can’t wait to go back and eat again. Highly recommend!”
