“Wanted to try something different and always drove by this place. So glad I decided to give it a go, it's different but a GOOD different. Their tacos with queso were fire. My suggestion is that when they tell you, "Be careful this can spill." Take it seriously, I spilled it all over the floor inside my car and they were nice enough to replace it no charge. “It wasn't busy at all when we walked in. There was no one in the front. It took a little while for someone to come to the front. When they did they were very helpful. I ate a coconut bar. It wasn't bad. When I got to the bottom of the coconut bar, that's where all the coconut settled. The bar kind of tasted like it had a little freezer burn. Not sure if it's supposed to taste like that or not. I did however, try the coconut ice cream in a scoop along with the pistachio ice cream and that was pretty good.”

“My quest to try a new KC restaurant for menudo has led me to Tacos El Guero and I'm just impressed about my whole experience. The place was clean and the people were very friendly. They have tacos and quesadillas on their menu with your choice of meat. We got the lengua quesadilla and it was absolutely delicious- I thought I would hate having beans inside my quesadilla but it added a new texture to it. The menudo and birria were absolutely delicious! I think this might be my favorite menudo so far”

“Its been a few years since I been here, but when I went the other day, even though the lobby is closed, I ordered by phone and in a few minutes my pork burrito in chile rojo came to my car. “So today was the GRAND OPENING of KC’s Northwest Grill. It is in a good location and easy to see from the intersection of 18th and Parallel Ave. There were a lot of ole friends that cane out to support DA and his new business. All businesses have room for improvement. The food was good and worth the wait. I would recommend this local business for a quick bite. Check them out. You can call your order in. This is not a sit down restaurant there are no tables. Roll up place your order and roll out. I would suggest trash cans on the inside where you get your drinks and one outside where the window is to place your order as well. I would also suggest putting a board up with your menu items. Over all it was pleased.”

“I really admire all of the heard-workers at Wilson's pizza. It's my first time there. We had an order of BBQ wings, which were plump and juicy. We also had a medium (which is their smallest size) pepperoni pizza. If you're familiar, I feel it tastes like a cross between Fun House pizza and a Minsky's pizza. I liked it. It was heavy on the sauce. It was a little greasy, but then again, we got pepperoni. Call in your order and trust them when they say how long it will take to get your food. There's not much of a space for waiting and if the weather is warm, there's no air conditioning in there so you will swelter under the pizza oven heat.”

“This was my first visit here. I am sometimes leery about trying new Chinese restaurants, but thank God I found this gemstone. First the hospitality was amazing, it was very easy to order. And I am a very picky person. The crab Rangoon were the best I have ever had. Will definitely try all the flavors next trip. The lo mein was excellent. All the employees get to know you're name, and treat you as a regular right from the start! Dee and Connie through the weekday, and Rhianna and Miranda on the weekends! Matt is one of the regular cooks, and his burgers and pork tenderloins are second place to no other restaurant in the metro area! Best part of eating at Wolfe-Es is the affordable prices! “Finished with a doctor visit and lab, this afternoon.I was overdue for some chow, and wanted a GOOD burger, a really good one. Five minutes away, was an old standyby, Paul's Drive In. Double burger (mustard, onion, pickle) basket, and every bit as tasty as it's always been. Crispy french fries, and some delicious onion rings, included. That's how to finish a day. Good people working the food, a real team. The basket's pretty worked over, but I was a starvin' marvin - no regrets.”

“Heard about this from a local. They were right! Buffalo chicken wings were slightly spicy but slightly sweet and fabulous! They were not crunchy because they are soaked in the sauce.Tortillas had a light fluffy texture and taste. The chicken you can see being grilled. The chicken is perfectly cooked and the skin in crunchy but not hard. The salsa looks like apple sauce but it is a fabulous salsa. The beans were wonderful and had some type of pork in it including what looked like a hot dog. They were out of rice but we were there right before they closed. I would come back again and again! All for $20.”
