“Decent food but with the limited menu during the pandemic it’s not worth the price. My boyfriend and I both had tacos. He had the brisket and I had the steak. I must say the steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection though. The outdoor patio is really nice and the owner was very attentive.”

“The updated storefront is nice. There seems to at least be an attempt to keep it clean. The ladies room is always nasty and smells. The toilet sometimes doesn't flush. The food since remodel has been hot and fresh. Never any salt available for the potatoes and gravy and they are too bland to eat without adding salt and pepper. The staff is not super friendly or courteous, but no longer rude. The place always seems understaffed and the staff there frustrated and confused. ”

“This is my first time visiting this eatery. Ms. Desiree was very nice--the staff seemed the same. The food was sub-par (and not because of the staff). I had the shrimp kabobs with sides of mixed vegetables and the pasta. I was just not into the flavoring or seasonings used.”

“COVID-19 Compliant restaurant! Most of the servers and cashiers are wearing masks. They have taped 50% of the tables. Thanks, La madeline!”

“Very fresh fries. Impressive. The meat patty on the Big Mac was a little dry, thin, and not real warm. The cheese was not melted. It was still decent. The bread was fresh.”

“After watching IP Man, we were inspired to partake in some Japanese cuisine. Commuted to JINYA. Host informed us of barcode scan menu, immediately seated us outdoors in patio area, nice weather and fans blowing. They practice social distance. Food prepared and served quickly, piping ?hot. It was a great experience for my first time. Thank you Tiffany and IP Man.”

“Im sure the foods great, but quickly picked up on the nonchalant greeting from the clerk as if being profiled. But when they found out I worked for waitr, things quickly got yes sired up. Service came quick as idkw. I prob won't be eating there personally tho.”

“This was my first time going to this restaurant there are a lot of things on the menu to choose from my food was very flavorful and it was worth the money my margarita was not the best but the food made up for it!”

“Fun night. Some of the cuts had a little more gristle than on previous occasions, but for the most part they did not. Not a good value for kids, but for adults who love meat, it's the best in town. The salad bar is even pretty good. The pickled spicy shrimp were my least favorite. One adult, and six kids was right over $350.00 with no alcohol.”

“Great natural wine selection, great staff. Very knowledgeable about wine and menu. Very professional with a completely laid back atmosphere. Food is always great, little pricey, but worth the whole experience.”

“Solid preparation of classic dishes. The crab cakes are excellent, served with sauce on the side (more restaurants should do this instead of smothering them). For the price I would like to see something a little more unique on the menu, but everything we ordered was done well if not exciting or extraordinarily interesting.”

“Raising Cane's already goes above and beyond, but the employees here deserve extra special thumbs up. I drove up close to closing time, exhausted from the workday. I was not in a good mood, I just wanted to get my food and go home. I was greeted with the kindest call my sweetest voice. I growled my way through my order and I was thanked for placing it. At the first window, I was still a little grumpy, but the employee did not take it to heart. They must have seen how tired I was. By the time I got to the last window, I was in a much better mood. No matter how grumpy I was, even though I knew I wasn't taking it out on them, they must have known too because they didn't take it personally. They were never anything but kind and professional. They even gave me extra ketchup because I asked for it. The food is exactly what you would expect of Raising Cane's. Their motto is not one love for no reason. The chicken was hot, crispy, fresh, juicy. The fries were hot, fresh, not too heavily salted. The toast was perfect. And Raising Cane's is the only place you can ever be 100% sure you're not going to get a nasty fountain drink because they make sure they change out their boxes and their canisters. Thanks a bunch crew! Y'all Rock!”

“Great set up -- tables right next to the bar to still allow good conversation with the bartenders, not to mention the excellent food. There was a huge flock of ducks outside the front entrance that were incredibly friendly and even let you pet them, although they definitely wanted some bread. Only downside is lack of sidewalks and safe pedestrian crossings on that stretch of Bluebonnet, which would be helpful because we live walking distance from it.”

“I give it 5 stars because the service was great and the food was good. I got the Stadium Burger with fries. This burger was big and I loved the fried jalapenos and jalapeno mayonnaise along with the sauteed onions. The only thing I didn't care for was the amount of cane syrup on the black pepper glazed bacon. For me it was to sweet and it overpowered the other flavors on the burger. Nevertheless I did enjoy the food and the service.”

“This place usually has good chicken andouille gumbo and seafood/crawfish. It can be a hit or miss sometimes, but the seafood is generally delicious and fresh. I used to come here with my parents/friends sand got buckets of crawfish. Today (Saturday) there was no crawfish - just crab. The other items were pretty lackluster. They look good but most there dry. Only the crabs were good so I just buried myself in it. The creme brûlée was good. I wish i could have called to see if they had crawfish and king crab legs before I go :(”

“I got the carne asada with tortillas because of the avocado but was a bit disappointed to see the avocado was less then 1/4 of an avocado and it was going bad. I love the place which is why I didnt rated lower but they can do better.”

“OH. MY. GOODNESS! Currently continuing the hunt for the greatest, most authentic taco in Baton Rouge, and we might just have a winner. However, given the deliciousness of this quest, we don't plan on stopping lol. El Tio is a great little spot, not necessarily in the greatest of locations. But let's be honest, the BEST food never is. I'm already looking forward to the next time I get to visit. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.”
