“We were hoping this place would outdo their dim sum competitor so we wouldn't have to travel far anymore. I've read other bad reviews and was a little hesitant trying it out. However, it wasn't too bad. The restaurant wasn't too packed when we came but we still stood at the door for a few minutes without being acknowledged before I decided to go straight to the counter to ask if it was a seat yourself or what kind of deal. It was a wait to be seated ordeal, but of course, the employees only decided to glance quickly at us and carried on. Either way, we sat and quickly ordered. They serve more than just dim sum. There's also Chinese food and authentic Chinese specials on the board. I noticed some of the Vietnamese translations of the items were wrong, too, but I'm guessing they used Google Translate. You'll still be able to navigate the menu, though, as some do have pictures. They also have large tables with a lazy Susan to have a family style meal. The menu is large enough to have options for everyone. Everything is made to order. There are no push carts for dim sum, so be prepared for a slightly longer wait time. Overall, the food was ok, mediocre. It's close enough to get you through your dim sum cravings if you live in the Metairie or Kenner area.”

“Awesome little place tucked in the corner! We got their Wake Up, and Dragon Berry smoothies. The person working there yesterday (the 8th of August) was extremely sweet and had her hustle on, big time! She threw together our two smoothies while our kids observed what it's like to work hard. The smoothies were fresh and delicious, fresh ingredients, and reasonably priced. I'd skip the smoothie king a block away and come here every time, when I'm in the area.”

“Had never heard of this place before, but was working in the area and "Googled" "food near me", on my phone, and this place showed up. I was surprised that it was located inside a Walmart, but went inside and ordered at the counter. The food was prepared, fresh, in the fully visible, clean and orderly kitchen, and delivered, quickly. We drove back to the work site, and were Shocked (!) at how delicious the sandwiches tasted!!! The bread is a taste sensation, by itself, and the steak and garnishes just make the sandwich more delicious! I can't remember a taste sensation, like we experienced with these sandwiches, when I was "safe to drive". Do Visit! 5/5! Will return!!!”

“The place is very yummy! Like, super yummy! The name does it justice! I had a very delicious sandwich made with fajita chicken. It was incredible! My friend had a wrap! We also ordered duck bites as an appetizer. Pretty tasty! They also have a great selection of flavored coffees. The only reason this wasn't a 5 star review is that they were not taking any precautions for Covid-19. Even stranger still is that the entire town (all places we've seen) behaves as if there isn't a virus. We were glad we ate here and we wouldn't have if it had been more crowded. I wish more people would protect others and do the right thing!”

“Overall a positive experience staying there. The marina, pool and back pier by the bay are really nice. If you trailer a boat there, there's gravel parking across the street for your trailer. I'd recommend that the hotel install curtains to block the lighting from the exterior walkway. The bedroom is very bright at night from the walk way lights. I would definitely stay there again. The bar and live music were great!”

“I have always loved Church's Chicken. I lived in Uptown New Orleans for 25 years, and while in High School, Church's was a block away. I ate it twice a day, 5 days a week. Now, whenever I'm in New Orleans, there are 2 things that I must have, and Church's is one of them. If Church's Chicken ever came to my town, that would be my spot. I have visited this Kenner location several times in the last two or three years and always had a good experience, but on last Saturday, when I visited the drive through, the cashier was very rude and totally unprofessional. She absolutely refused to stick her had out of the window to take our money and was also disrespectful in her speech. My friend and driver of the vehicle was very upset by this and said he would never go back there again. As Preachers, we do not appreciate being disrespected in this manner.”

I’m glad I did! There was a gentleman working the front I haven’t seen before doing expo very respectful. Before he got to me he was handing out other orders and it was yes sir, no sir, yes ma’am, no ma’am. Then he got to me with my order witch didn’t take long at all for him to bag it and hand it to me.
