We ate here just a little after lunch. There were very few people at that time, maybe 2 other tables. Service was fast and good. We had a combination of Tacos. BBQ Birria, Steak Bavette, and a chicken Taco. The Birria and Chicken Tacos were good. The Steak Bavette were strange. Not in a bad way. The meat was tender and flavorful, but it had the smell and texture of shrimp. If I did not see the meat before eating it, I would swear it was shrimp. Weird, but in a good way. The only downside was that the flour tortillas on the steak tacos were not toasted (or not toasted enough). This caused the taco to eat a bit gummy or pasty. It did not have a good mouth feel.
My Fiancé and I visited the restaurant on a Wednesday around 5pm. The crowd was very minimal. We were immediately greeted and seated. The ambiance was beautiful and welcoming. Very clean and modern restaurant. Our waiter was very sweet and attentive and my meal was delicious. I ordered the bbq birria tacos. Highly recommend this restaurant.
I love Mexican food. It’s one of my favorites. I wanted to love this place. The style inside is so cute and definitely instagram worthy. The flight of margaritas for 20$ is a good deal. The empanadas were good. The best tasting part of our food was the black beans and rice. The chicken and steak had little to no seasoning/flavor ; Very bland. The consumè was thin like water. With no flavor. The server took so long to take care of us and they weren’t even busy.

Drinks and ambiance are the reason this place will succeed. I hope they do better on their menu and service to make if better.
I came in one minute prior to their closing time and they made no hesitation to seat me. I happened to be only in the market for cocktails and in this they succeeded. A pleasantly spiced and attractively garnished jalapeño margarita, on the rocks. Zero pressure to me or the other two parties of guests in the establishment as we zoomed passed closing time at our respective tables.
