“Different Point of Brew walks you back in time. Very Eclectic Coffee Bistro House. We ordered the steak and egg breakfast sandwich and we were happily surprised by the taste and flavor. The lady’s were very kind. I will definitely be back to dine again. Why not have a different point of Brew. I remember this lady when she just had a dream working in a small diner in Mars Hill. All you have to do is believe and watch God do his work. As a business owner it is great to see people living their dreams.”

“We visited the Maple Pig last night. The hostess was able to get us seated right away. The Front of House staff was incredible! They were getting people in and seated quicker than I've ever seen! The food was very good! We had pizza, the traditional nachos and Mac and Cheese bites. Everything was great! The pizza had more sauce than we like but that's just a matter of asking for less next time. We'll definitely be back!”

“Pat’s Pizza in Presque Isle offers a delightful dining experience with a mix of flavors and local charm. We started with the chicken nachos, featuring homemade chips that added a satisfying crunch. The large pepperoni pizza, adorned with mini pepperoni, was a cheesy delight! Although today the pizza had a subtle hint of horseradish (or something) that left us with mixed feelings. The restaurant’s ambiance is enriched by local sports decor, creating a cozy atmosphere. The friendly waitstaff added a personal touch to our visit, and the quick service ensured we didn’t have to wait long to indulge in Pat’s Pizza’s offerings. Overall, a tasty spot that captures the essence of Presque Isle.”

“Stopped in for a beer while en-route from Presque Isle to Bangor. What an awesome place. They had some good beers on tap, and some local characters that made for outstanding entertainment. The owners (Chris and his wife) were great to talk to. They stepped out on a limb w this venture, they got guts. If I ever get back up there I'll stop in again and have a few beers and maybe even get a room for the night. Pro-Tip: Pat doesn't like to be addressed as Sir, so make sure and do it as often as you can, just to get a rise out of him.”

“The lobster roll was hella good. The vibe is like a roadside hamburger stand but with great seafood. Lots of seating outback. A good old school American food place.”

“Went to this restaurant because of a blog’s recommendation. We were on our way to Fort Kent and tried the food here. Service was fast. The blt, ployes and steak poutine were awesome! Ordered seafood platter, didn’t expect the fake scallops. But everything was good! We missed ordering the chicken stew but will be back for it!”

“If it wasn’t for Google Map, we would have driven past Misty Meadows. It’s not much to look at from the road, but inside is a different story. After we ordered lunch, there were lots of unique gifts, memorabilia and edibles to peruse throughout the building in themed rooms while our meal was being prepared. About ordering lunch, we were warned about large portions. My wife’s small salad was substantial. I went with the plain burger. The other end of the spectrum was a burger that must be half a foot tall. Our meals were well-prepared, no complaints. Menu tip: When you order a burger, you must order French fries separately. But then, toward the end of the meal, they served us a surprise slice of apple pie.”

“Fabulous. Great find. So glad we stopped. This was the best food we've had in 6000 miles. The portions were generous and the service was excellent. Even with covid restrictions this stop was the best. Give them a try and don't forget to check out Grandma's corner (there's a great story). Be sure to buy a homemade dessert for later. We recommend the whoopie pie. Enjoy! #thetravelingschoonies”

“The food was very good. Very hot and freshly made. Place your order via phone and it will take about an hour to make. But it is worth the wait. No dine in but only take out. There is large quantities of food so would not say it is expensive.”
