“Pros: This place has everything you need! Warm staff, Fresh hot food, and big portions and exceptional prices!! The set up is a display on various options of food presented on a heated wok, which are continuously exchanged and switched out for fresh food. Cons: drive through was not operational and not blocked off so some customers were sitting in front of the drive monitor, repeating the words of "hello?" . Conclusion: I was able to get a 3 entree 1 side meal for the total of $9.12 (tax included). Portions were large and the food was hot and decent, chicken and broccoli was well flavored and the broccoli was crunchy, orange chicken was crispy and sauce wasn't over wheezing and the pan fried dumpling seemed like it was made In house. For the prices that were presented the food quality was better than some restaurants that would charge double. Of course there are some things that this new restaurant needs to work on but this is all a learning process. Give credit where credit is earned. This establishment is doing a great job and the best that they can! Check them out!”

The fried chicken taco had the perfect balance of flavor and crunch....I ate a full meal and am already looking forward too going back for more tacos. “Came here because everyone raves about the French toast. Its made using bread pudding topped with whipped cream, cherries, and nuts and seeds, comes with a side of fresh fruit. It's honestly okay. The bread pudding was nice...Custard like and very soft, and it's quite a lot. They're fairly thick pieces and it's not doused in oil or maple syrup. The inside is really nice and I guess the food is good but I think people raving about it set my expectations up very high made me a little disappointed.”

“Brought a tour bus from our town to the Songo River Queen last week and the restaurants in town we had planned to eat at were closed unbeknownst to us. I called Gary's and asked if they could take 50 people in 10 minutes and they did, even opening a little early for us. Everyone had a great meal and the 2 waitresses did an amazing job. When this trip rolls back around for out town I will be calling Gary's first! Awesome experience and food!”

Order at the window and pick up when your number is called, then eat at picnic tables in either the sunny area or covered area of the wharf. BYOB or purchase alcohol at the old general store next door. Fun place to meet friends. We usually get haddock sandwiches and onion rings, but changed it up with one Holbrook's Cobb Salad with blackened shrimp, asparagus, avocado, and tomatoes over greens. Tasty and fresh. The haddock sandwich is smaller than in previous years, but still good. We'll keep this on our list to get to at least once a season.”
