“Excellent atmosphere. Excellent food. Excellent service. The place was clean. The decor was beautiful. They brought out clean hot moist towels before and after dinner to clean your hands. You are given a jug of water with slices of fruit and mint to drink. I'm going there again and I will be recommending it to all my family, friends and colleagues. It's an elegant place to go.”

“I absolutely love this place and I come here every year when I am in the area. It is one of the pricier restaurants I'm the area but their food is amazing. We came here for both brunch and dinner this year and we're happy with both. They have very good mixed drinks and I love their shrimp and grits. They've got an awesome atmosphere with early 2000's hip hop and R&B playing most nights. Visit this place if you go to national harbor!!”

“There is enough for a hearty appetite. Make reservations or prepare for a long wait. I am not sure of the design, it's a cross between your old aunt and a ship galley but never quite making up its mind. The same goes for the food. Had the sampler which is wild on presentations and weak on flavor. Even the chicken dishes were inconsistent. Fish good but too much breading, and the tender ribs were bland at best. The cornbread was interesting as each quarter had a different flavor and texture. The sides were the best part, presented well and decent flavor. Dessert was cute and filling. Service staff trying way too hard with pleasantries over service but it was a Christmas visit. Maybe a good one off visit while at National Harbor but quality vs cost means I won't return even for the great peach tea.”

“I love this place. They have a mechanical bull that you absolutely have to try. Make sure you brace yourself because it is kind of hard to stay on. It's a lot of fun, so I think it's worth it. The food is amazing, as well. It's nice and inviting. I ordered a burger and fries. Those were good. Also, the waitress was really nice.”

“This BBQ restaurant knows their craft! If you're looking for a nice place to eat in National Harbor that isn't outrageously expensive, I recommend Brother Jimmy's. I love their Pressed Brisket Sandwich with a side of Mac and Cheese! The brisket is tender and juicy, and there are sauces at the table if you want even more flavor. The atmosphere is fun and chill, and service is very good. The sweet tea is made perfectly, which is an essential part of Southern cooking. I'll always eat here whenever I go to National Harbor!”

“Great traditional Irish pub. I had super friendly service. One of the most popular menu items is the Reuben spring rolls: tasty and creative. Half price for appetizers during happy hour. Great place pause and have a bite or drink when seeing National Harbor.”

“The food is delicious, you don’t have to wait long for food, and great staff. The chicken is is so juicy, tender, and flavorful. Another thing is there are not staff coming up to multiple times and asking you if the food is good when your mouth is full. And when I went in it seemed very friendly, had many customers, and it was reasonably priced. It was my first time and I definitely need to go again sometime soon.”

“Absolutely amazing food! Beware, it is hotter than we were used to at least. I ordered a one pepper dish expecting a little spicy, and my husband got a 3 pepper dish wanting spicy. They were both at the threshold of our spicy tolerances, but it was just too good to stop eating!”

“Delicious! Much more than just fried seafood. Great clam chowder, crab cakes, oysters and seafood boil. Good tap list and decent bar. Servers were prompt and knowledgeable about the menu. Looked like they had an outdoor space as well.”

“The food is good. Servers could give better attention and service beyond expectations. Didn't like that we had to stand in line at register to pay. Our previous experience was great!”

“Great ambience, the food was delicious. The server was really nice although I didn't get her name. Would have preferred some ice in my water however that's a little thing. Really enjoyed myself.”

“Ordered a lot of pepperoni..and loved it ..we ordered another to go. It tasted even better the next day..reheated in oven. I read the other reviews and was very skeptical..happy we tried anyway. Our server was really pleasant and attentive. Worth returning..hope they keep it up”

“Great dinining experience. This was my third visit here. Food, service and staff all exceed my expectations. German (Herman) has been our waiter on each visit. He is knowledgeable, attentive, personable and professional. We enjoyed the Shrimp & Grits, Chicken Alfredo, Fried Shrimp/Calamari and the warm bread was delicious. The restaurant atmosphere is both upscale and informal at the same time. It has a clear view of the National Harbour and parking is a short walk away. It's a great dining choice. Enjoy.”

“Burger was good. I had cheese and mushrooms. Fries are very good. Thin cut and fried in Olive oil. Yummy. It's a cozy place and seating is a bit limited. Not recommended for groups larger than five. Service is reasonable and staff is helpful and friendly.”

“This place has a great selection of drinks, and the best corn bread I've ever eaten in my life. Good food, friendly staff. Please get the corn bread... Casual atmosphere. Music not too loud. Outdoor seating available.”

“Crab cakes are delicious and chock full of crab and not unnecessary filler. They are small and a bit pricey. It would be nice to be able to order just a crab cake and it not come with a ton a fries.”

“The waffle cones are the flimsiest, thinnest waffle cones I've ever seen. I could quite literally hear them cracking slightly as the man behind the counter lightly pressed the scoop of ice cream into the cone. Then, as my boyfriend and I were eating, ice cream started oozing out from tiny holes in the cones--that's how thin they were. And as other reviewers have mentioned, the prices here are much higher than any other Ben & Jerry's I've been to (downtown Boston, Dulles Town Center, etc.). I understand that National Harbor rent is probably quite high, but paying just under $10 per small waffle cone is a bit much. There is some good: I was here during day three of a rather large convention (MAGFest), and Ben & Jerry's managed to not run out of any flavor, unlike some other restaurants in the area that had run out of particular menu items. It's also a Ben & Jerry's, so like any other, the flavors are great.”

“Came here for Sunday lunch. Service was fast and the food was good. The bathrooms could probably be more maintained during open hours but wasn’t there for the bathroom so that gets a pass.”

“They have one of the best happy hour at the harbor. Drinks are on point and food was great. Make sure you get there a little early because the bar tends to fill up fast.”

“The food and drinks are some of the best in the harbor. Some amazing seafood dishes. I tried the Crab Claws this time and I can't believe they are on the happy hour menu. Never had a bad dining experience whether it was at the bar or on the dining floor/patio. Can't wait until the weather gets better so I can sit outside by the water!”

“Came in extremely clutch for Katsucon. Man on the phone was extremely chill about taking multiple orders to the same place. Food came really fast for a Friday nigh. The couple in the cars were sweethearts and I’ll be going here tomorrow.”

“While it doesn't have a play area for the kids the staff tries it's best to get you in and out quickly. They are pleasant, helpful and if the line gets a little long the manager does not hesitate to step up to a register to help out. Maybe, by it being next to MGM and National Harbor that makes a difference.”
