“We were a group of three friends riding the C&O Canal Towpath on our bikes for four days. Williamsport was a stop on our ride both ways. After a long day of riding 40+ miles on a bike and a small lunch, one wants something hardy and filling for dinner. Well this place did not disappoint us at all. On our first stop, we ordered one of their large pizzas. It was freshly made with just the right amount of our favorite toppings. Very satisfying. But three hungry males couldn't finish that large pizza. On our second stop, each of us wanted something different so the following were ordered: spaghetti with sauce, fettucine alfredo with chicken, and a small stromboli. Well, none of us were able to finish our dinners. On a bike ride of course one cannot carry the leftovers, otherwise this is the perfect place to bring your family, have a hearty and affordable meal, and then take a doggie bag home. Although this place does not serve beer or wine or any alcohol, there's a liquor outlet just two doors down that has a wide selection of adult beverages. BYOB!”

“My husband and I usually love this place. The food is usually awesome and the service is typically excellent. However, we brought my in-laws here recently and it was definitely an off night. My mother in law's food was cold as was some of mine. We arrived 10 minutes before dinner and we couldn't get the dinner menus to look at and wait the ten minutes to order. I don't think our waitress understood what we were asking. She was nice but she kind of talked over us so we just ordered apps and then asked for the dinner menus again three minutes after four o'clock. It was a simple misunderstanding I am sure. We'll definitely give it another try because we do like the restaurant quite a lot. But I can say my husband and I both felt a bit embarrassed about this recent trip.”

“Really nice friendly staff. Food was a little bland in my opinion, but this is coming from an American. I'm by far no expert, but I believe their food is a lot more authentic. It reminds me of the food I've had in California where there was a lot more truly authentic Mexican cuisine. So again, if that's what you like, than this place is REALLY good. It just wasn't to my personal taste. Only other thing, and I do believe it was an honest mistake because our server was SUPER nice, they forgot my niece twice. First when they took our orders, then again when they brought our orders out they realized they hadn't put her order in yet. But again, amazing staff, all very friendly and accommodating. I will probably go back because they really do take great care of their guests and the food quality is very good.”

“This is a real gem for good cooking, diner style atmosphere with a small bar seating and comfy tables and booths. I had terrific liver and onions with delicious mashed potatoes and gravy, price was so low I could hardly believe it. Desserts sounded great but the meal left no room! They raise their own Angus beef, no hormones, and have a nice selection of steak dinners and burgers. If you're driving past Hancock MD on I70 don't bother to look for someplace else, this is your dining destination!”

“Comfort food in a friendly setting, and all this before the dessert! To say "come for the pies but get here early enough to first enjoy a meal" doesn't do Weaver's justice. The servers (being PC for those of us from the big city) are just plain really nice people! Whenever I'm out for that Sunday drive I like to stop by for a little nostalgia, always friendly smiles, and a lot of guiltless calories!”

“Quite a gem! Stopped in after a LONG day of biking 60 miles and was HIGHLY SATISFIED. Our waitress with the teal hair shaved on one side is exactly what you want out of a waitress. Personable. Went above and beyond. Food selection quiet unique but still had all the classics. Definitely check out the fish and chips or the bread pudding for dessert. Eager to return. Tip: If you’re looking for more than just domestic beer options, ask for what they have on tap inside the bar. That’s where the good stuff is ????????????”

“Pulled in with ten riders. Looked like we were their first customers of the morning. We were welcomed and seated at large round tables perfect for a group of our size. The server was a pro. She handled our orders like she's been expecting us and immediately began writing separate tickets for each of us. The food was plentiful, delicious and reasonably priced. The hotcakes were perfect! Light, fluffy and cooked on an obviously high temp griddle. Definitely a go-to if you're in Hancock for breakfast.”

One person operation during this visit. 6. Two of us had omelets. Good but nothing outstanding. 7. One person ordered a hamburger and fries. He said it was an excellent burger. Fries were also very good. 8. Prices were comparable with similar facilities along I-70 in this area. Better deal than fast-food. 9. Would stop again. Unique experience to be sure.”
