“Alvah stone is a reminder that fantastic curated dining experiences can exist outside of large cities. The cocktail menu was very enticing, consisting of timeless classics and bold originals alike. Their draft list covered all bases, and they had a premium selection of wines. Overall the bar program was on point. My girlfriend and I chose to sit outside, which has a stunning view of the river. It seems to be built from the husk of an old Mill, adding a lovely rustic feel to the whole experience. Our server was knowledgeable and patient. I really wanted to try their Alvah stone feast, four courses (chef's choice), but my girlfriend didn't want to. It seemed like the best value at 39 per guest. Plates were small but forced you to consider every bite. The salmon tartare and gnocchi were delectable. We finished with the steak which was the best steak I've had in the 413. Overall thanks for helping me cap off the perfect date. Take your loved one here if you want to show them you care.”

We ordered two different sandwiches (try a sandwich with the ciabatta bread.. it's amazing), shared a smoothie and could not have enjoyed it any more. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!! The food and selection is excellent, REALLY excellent, the atmosphere is wonderful, the staff outs welcoming and the prices are very fair for the portion size, quality ingredients, and flavor you get. It's small, yet comfortable, the have a full bar, and parking right or front. Handicapped will need an assist because it's an older building, but we're talking about 4 steps to get in. Go, enjoy!”

“We stopped in last night! We had stopped in a couple weeks ago and i meant to write a review then but got distracted! Anyways, we both ordered the open sirloin steak sandwich that was on special. It was very good and. the flavor was awesome! Their corn chowder here is also very ????. We then both got dessert! I got a big piece of homemade coconut cream pie that rocked! My wife had the apple cobbler! Great desserts here just a little pricey! Free popcorn is offered although on this day:stale! Overall, good service and good comfort food! Check it out!????”

“Incredible food! We went for a graduation celebration and it was buffet style. The prosciutto was like velvet, the fish was fresh, the chicken breast was actually tender and flavorful (shocking!), and the bed tenderloin was one of the juiciest, fall apart delicious things I've had in a while. “Always love finding a mom and pops place. The food is filling and delightful and the staff are always beyond courteous. I'm from Utah and my husband and I drive truck. This is our usual place to park and do our reset at when in the area of Massachusetts. The showers are a bit odd and can be uncomfortable unless you don't mind the high school gym kind of setting showering in a stall in the bathroom all the customers use. The nice thing is they're only $4 if they even charge you which I've never had to pay so I just go later at night when its died down. Not many trucker women to use it so I have to say that it's not very clean though. I definitely wear my shower shoes and steer clear of touching the walls or sitting near on the bench. The one time a spider of a rather large size was posted above the shower head and I'm not tall so I had a very uncomfortable shower this time trying to splash water to get it down to kill it. The bathroom stalls I'll add need some serious TLC and from this trip to my previous one of 4 mo ths prior there were still mounds of dirt around the back side of the toilets. So it does have me wonder how clean anything else is where food is cooked if they can leave the restroom area 4 months or longer filthy dirty. A+customer service and food taste price and amount but an F- for cleanliness of showers and bathrooms. Thanks guys”

“A nice place to visit on a hot day. The ice cream is good, but the portions seem small for the price. Farmland all around it with strawberries just starting to sprout up. The cashier got the prices and order wrong. We (5 of us) Told her it didn't seem right she redid her math and got closer. We did the math as we ate and it was still wrong, but not by much. 2 people in our group had ordered large sundaes, the rest small. They all came out small. They corrected that by making another small of those 2 sundaes. All in all it was a pleasant experience.”
