“When Peet's in Newton Centre closed, the restaurant across the street, Central, took the opportunity to fill the void. Previously only open for dinner, Central opened up its beautiful space for coffee, baked goods, and light lunch option during the day - Central Cafe. It's a step up from your average coffee shop. It's beautiful, spacious, and it feels like a real treat to spend some daylight hours in there. Great idea, Central!”

“Took my husband here in a whim for his birthday and we were not disappointed. Drinks were fantastic. We had the tasting menu and there was nothing we didn’t love. Don’t miss out on this spot! I’m recommending it to everyone I know!”

“Loved the place. Kikds really love it.There are two other pizza places in Newton center, both also operated by super nice and have good service, but Bills tops both and that is saying a lot. Also it have options for people that don't want just simple pizza or sub. The kids go for the obvious, but I like the bacon and chicken.”

“We went there for lunch and for our anniversary. Tartufo's food and service was good although with all the sea food you need a lot of spice to balance that out or you get stomachache. There was only one other family there which is not surprising cause it was a weekday. Two important thing that I would do if I were the manager however are: increase the size of the portions of food for the price. Second, I would have been more engaged with my customers and show them that I cared more. If he had opened a bottle if wine for our anniversary we would have paid for the whole bottle. We are local and I have been to this restaurant a couple of times and I still don't know who the manager is and I am sure he doesn't have a clue who I am. This is just fast food treatment.”

“This place is great!! Top notch service and food! The bartenders are super knowledgeable and friendly. Every dish was well prepared and perfectly seasoned. The octopus salad was my favorite- the crunch from the celery really made it stand out. And the use of the Aleppo pepper in the spicy whipped feta was amazing- perfect amount of heat”

“I have been enjoying the food here for many years! Even though I now live in NH my husband & I don't mind the hour long drive for a wonderful, delicious meal & an hour drive back home. The staff are pleasant & friendly & the food is out of this world. So delicious!! I recommend Walnut Grille to all!! ♥️”

“I wouldn't say this is among the best chinese restaurants I've been to, but it is no doubt one of the 2 best Chinese restaurants around the Newton area. Jean and Lee is the other Chinese restaurant in the area that I recommend you try. The menu is decently well organized and the food is tasty. In case you wanted to know, when I went, only two people there weren't chinese. And they were there with a group of chinese people. That's how you know a Chinese restaurant is very Chinese.”

“Dunkin is okay, but I feel like the coffee is kinda weak, and for less than half the price, I get a better cup of coffee at Cumberland Farms. Dunkin also needs some creative, attractive (good tasting) low carb options on the menu.”

“I ordered the Southwest Chicken Salad which was waaay too spicy for me (there should be some mention of spicy in the description). I called and explained that it was honestly too hot for me to even eat and the manager, Sandra, offered to make me a new one right away. It was waiting for me when I arrived a few minutes later. Awesome customer service!”

“This place does not have a drive thru! Definitely not easy if you have sleeping children in the car. Also, this location is almost impossible to turn into if you are going towards route 9 (aka going north).”

“This place was great! Kind of hidden so I hadn't tried it. But the ambience and service were fantastic. Just had lunch there, great burger, lobster tots and chips and guacamole. All very good, definitely want to go back for drinks.”

“Yesterday I was able to appreciate the great teamwork. I was there yesterday afternoon and the man who took care of me was very kind, while the young lady was helping an elderly lady, the food was spectacular, for the first time in Qdoba.”

“This pizza is truly great pizza. The crust is thin-style, it's crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It's cooked to perfection in their coal fired oven. The tomato sauce is tastefully and noticeably different in a great surprising way. It tasted homemade, as if they made it fresh that day. The toppings and ingredients were really delicious. My friend eggplant topping was crispy and well seasoned. I wish I had more! The restaurant is nice and new. It has a dedicated bar area, seating area, pickup area, and outdoor patio area. The kitchen is completely open, so you can watch them make your pizza and place it on the oven. I only wish there was one where we lived in western Mass, because I'd be there once a week.”

“Clam chowder soup is tasty. I came in late on the day, 20 minutes before closing. No selection of bread but I was surprise to find the rye delicious. I figure if you're in Boston area, you ought to try the local stuff. This is light, economical, quite healthy and worthy of 4 stars. My eyes are bigger than my appetite. I though a quart size would do but it was actually more than I could handle, with the bread. If you are in the neighborhood, give it a try.”

“The best place to visit for dim sum near Boston. Everything was great. Make sure you try the bread as it's a house specialty. Arrive early on Sunday to ensure a seat in the first wave. Worth the wait if you don't get in when it opens.”
