“The breakfast was delicious. Went with a group that has various food restrictions- allergic to eggs and another allergic to gluten. Most of the breakfast options had eggs but the soup they had available was a great option for our egg free friend. Definitely get the chips and salsa to start (best chips in a long time). The timing of drinks and service I expect will improve with time, but the staff was kind and considerate.”

“We were in town visiting our son for his birthday. This place was well worth the visit! The food was awesome, our waiter was very informative and knowledgeable. The beer was good. We went on a Wednesday and they had an open mic night with great entertainment, including the owner and his adorable little girl. We will definitely go back next time we're in town.”

“When you have to choose between Taco Bobs and any other old taco place you know what to choose. Taco Bobs seems to use high end ingredients that are always fresh all while somehow keeping the price extremely affordable. The staff are always friendly and quick to get you your food. “New place running by very young people so they definitely have a lot to learn. However, the food and service is still exceptional. They have both health and taste while being budget friendly (update: not really budget friendly anymore). If I were to compare their Shawarma sandwiches with the other places in Kalamazoo, I would definitely go with theirs. Also, being a night owl and a student, I love their timings and location. All in all, I would definitely suggest giving them a try.”

“This is a great, new type of business for the Kalamazoo area. The tea and ice cream were absolutely delicious and the owners/staff are friendly and helpful. Haven't had the food but if its anything like the ice cream I'm sure it will be good. There were longer waiting times during the soft opening but with more employees and equipment coming in, it won't be like that much longer. Definitely worth a visit!”

“Amazing food! If you’re wondering what to expect think deconstructed sushi, that’s the best way I can describe it. The woman on morning staff is lovely and super helpful (it was our first time in). They offer chopsticks and silverware (plastic or metal) so if you’re not experienced with chopsticks there’s no worry. I highly recommend Maui Poke, the prices good and the quantity of food is massive as well.”

“First of all, the atmosphere is quite possibly the coolest in Kalamazoo! It’s worth a trip in to see the super cool painted floor and custom murals... I especially love the ‘Handy’ wallpaper in the hallway back to the bathrooms.???? The staff is SUPER friendly which makes such a huge impression when a place is brand new and finding their groove. But most importantly, the burgers are awesome!!! A single is enough of a meal for me but they have a double if you need a bit more meat on your bun. Ask for you burger and fries ‘Nonla way’ for a real taste explosion! My kids beg me to take them here all the time... we have found that late afternoon right after school is a great time for an early dinner before they get busy with the dinner rush. We love the convenience of the new location!!! Nice job Nonla folks...you’ve hit it out of the park again????”

Open, bright, fresh and clean, and there is a fireplace in the middle of the restaurant - also, there are lots of windows and some original artwork on the walls. “Let’s get right to it — this is probably some of the best pizza you’ll find in Kalamazoo. Pizza Katerina keeps things simple, only selling New York style pizza and fresh bread. The pizza sauce is filled with flavor, the dough is outstanding, and the pepperoni is unbelievably good. Price-wise, it’s cheaper than getting something like Domino’s.
