“You know in the movies and on tv shows, every little town has a cozy cafe that appeals to locals and tourists alike? You know how in the real world, we are constantly losing these businesses around the country to chain-dining, where everyone knows exactly what microwaved meal they're going to receive? New Bohemian is keeping the tradition of a family owned, true-to-town café alive. Freshly made amazing sandwiches, wraps, soups, salads, pastries, and more. An excellent menu of coffee drinks, and a tasting bar of local estate wine. They strive to know their customers, whether it's your first time in, or your hundredth. Northport is a better place with the New Bo here.”

“We sat at the bar and Michelle waited on us. She was super good and so fast! The chowder was amazing and honestly the prime rib was the best I’ve ever had. The portions were very generous and we loved everything including our cocktails. Super fair prices for the quality and quantity. Can’t wait to go back!”

“Beautiful balcony to sit out on. Food was decently priced for the area. We both got the fish sandwich which was good. Wine and drinks were not very reasonably priced (thought they would have more offerings with the tasting room being next door and connected to the restaurant). Service was alright.”

“Delicious cheeses, sandwiches, wraps, and even salads. Cans of beer, lemonade, coke products, and bottles of tea are served here as well. Friendly staff, fun shack vibe, and generous portions. I wasn’t planning on eating here because I’m gluten & dairy sensitive. But the fella mentioned that they have a gluten free tortilla & I went for it. He basically let me make up my own wrap with whatever I wanted on it, and it was the very best wrap I’ve ever had. So big & delicious! TIP—> they make their own pretzel bread. It’s great, but a whole lot of bread in the ratio so build your sandwich accordingly. TIP—>get that wrap. The tortilla actually held together & was so good! I got hummus, bacon, chicken, goat cheese & cucumbers. Yum.”

“The cove is a wonderful place to eat with a lots of character! Located within fish town, which is neat little neighborhood to take a walk and shop. Beware parking maybe hard to find during busy times as the area does draw tourists. Most things here are locally operated so that’s a plus. The cove was decorated for Halloween when I visited hence the skeleton in the picture. I had the slow parade draft beer to drink. However they are well known for their bloody marry which six others in my group had, they even ate the fish it comes with. We had appetizers shrimp cocktail and artichoke drip. Note one item not on the menu you order for an appetizer is fries. They go well with the shrimp cocktail. Loved this place will come again!”

“I had the fried smelt basket. Outstanding! Lightly dusted in cornmeal and gently fried. I also had the plain potato skins which were very different than expected and quite delicious! Literally fried potato peels served with sour cream. Yum and Yum. We sat at the bar and the service was fast and friendly. I gave only 4 stars because the menu I downloaded from the web was not current so the prices were higher than listed. Easy enough to update the menu.”

“A delightful authentic experience. I loved each course, our spirited host & lovely knowledgeable chef. The servers were friendly & efficient. If I were to make two suggestions; better to add a little less heat to start, add more after serving for those with the desire, second use a milder fish for the stew. Was definately a fun & unique evening.”

“Had the breakfast burrito and Gouda cheese breakfast sandwich, so good!!!!! What a great spot to be next to the coffee shop there. Only appeared to be one person working there though, seems like it could turn into a hot mess very quickly if a few people came in at the same time.”

“My ALL TIME FAVORITE BREAKFAST / BRUNCH / LUNCH spot ANYWHERE! I cannot emphasize how highly I think of this place. Been up north many times and Martha's is part of what I miss up here. I seriously stay in Suttons Bay just so I can eat here every morning. My kids loved it too and now keep asking me when we're going to "Martha's house" lol Here's what I love 1. Bang me sandwich! How can this be so good from a non-Vietnamese place? 2. Turkey and apple sandwich! They have never gotten this wrong! 3. The mixed drinks! Bartenders are killing it back there! 4. The owner and staff who are so kind and patient with us even when we bring our toddlers or our dog Coco 5. The ambience indoors and out and the people who eat there who are also so damn cool and kind!”

The menu has offerings that let you eat healthy or hearty. Our waitress was attentive. Definitely worth your time for an informal lunch or dinner while in Sutton's Bay.”

“During our week in the area we decided to try Roman Wheel pizza after a long day. It was so delicious that we had it again a few nights later! We never do that. It is unbelievably good! The crust is the best part, but the toppings, cheese and sauce are not far behind.”
