League & Lounge

Address: 200 Ferry Ln, St Ignace, MI 49781, USA

Restaurant

“This restaurant has some fantastic food and a full bar. It is part of a complex that also includes a bowling alley, but don't think your typical bowling alley food. The food here is varied and delicious! I am just finishing up my dinner of fried whitefish that came with some delicious garlic mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad as my sides. Not your typical bowling alley food at all. I try to get in here at least once or twice a season when I am up in St Ignace Michigan and it is always a treat. The business just recently changed hands and I am happy to say that the quality of the restaurant is still top notch! If you're looking for some delicious food, and friendly folks taking care of you, be sure to drop by here. It's just off the beaten track but easy enough to find. Be sure to stick your head in the bowling alley when you're here to see the murals of the old ferries that used to carry people between Mackinaw City and St Ignace before the bridge was built.”

Bates Corner Bar and Grill

Address: W16431 US-2, Gould City, MI 49838, USA

Restaurant

“Stopped while we were driving by. It was the first place we saw open for miles and we were glad it was. They had the best pizza I have ever tasted. It didn't drip grease everywhere and didn't upset my stomach. They don't skimp on the toppings and best of all, FRESH toppings. Nothing is frozen. The owners were there the entire time talking with all the customers and very friendly. Great atmosphere. Pool table, darts, DJ station, outdoors deck to enjoy the beautiful outdoors while you eat and drink. We will definitely be back!!!”

The employees were wonderful, very friendly and contrary to other reviews, THEY WORE MASKS!!!”

“04 July 2020: Got a flight of the 4 beers they brew themselves (their taps are filled out with other Michigan favorites) and they were all pretty darn good. Food was excellent. Had to wait a while for a table but what else would you expect for dinner time on Independence Day? The only reason I didn't check out the swag shop was we had to run to catch our ferry back to St. Ignace. So I bought a shirt from their online shop. I'll be back next time we go out to the island!!!”

The Shipwreck

Address: 17293 Main St, Curtis, MI 49820, USA

Restaurant

“I like this hole-in-the-wall bar that's in Marquette Michigan. It had a really cool country kind of vibe around it. Bartenders we're nice but I did not like that the owner was drinking behind the bar. He would just go behind the bar grab a Miller Lite and drink. But I guess they live there upstairs or something. The fries are awesome and the mushroom burger was really good. But it was funny when I ordered a red beer and I am guessing they've never heard of one before or since they gave me an odd look. But I'm from Oregon and we like our beer, and it comes in different ways. I would definitely come visit this bar if I we're in that little city. Has a great view to the lake”

My husband and I have been to many places for breakfast and they made the BEST eggs, crispy hashbrowns and bacon I’ve ever had. Usually I’m hesitant to order breakfast out because I’m very particular about how it is cooked and usually disappointed. They definitely did not disappoint! Excellent job! Highly recommended!”

Kewadin Casinos – St. Ignace

Address: 3015 Mackinac Trail, St Ignace, MI 49781, USA

Restaurant

“We parked in the RV parking lot. Got electric and water for $15, very reasonable. And you can get shuttle service to the casino. It's not like camping in a park, more like a parking lot. But no complaints for the price. Casino is just what you'd expect for a casino. Smoky, dark, lots of noise and lights flashing. Staff is pleasant.”

Pine's Trading Post

Address: 2021 I-75BL, St Ignace, MI 49781, USA

Restaurant

“Delicious food, Friendly staff, Great convenience. This place is must go for ant type of meat, baked goods, pizza, or cooked dinners. Every thing is homemade, and completely beats the competition. I went to this place so much the staff knew me by name. Keegan, who I kept calling Russell by accident, went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and will most certainly be back.”

Jose's Cantina

Address: 1101 N State St, St Ignace, MI 49781, USA

“The wait here was long but only because it was so busy. Turns out it was busy for a good reason. I had the fried tacos and my wife had the tamales and they were both fantastic. I would definitely come back. Other people said the fajitas were great. The service was great for how busy they were and we got our food quickly.”

Joe's Diner

We had a very nice chat with him and couple other local folks. I highly recommend all three of his restaurants in the area.”
