“This place is every bit a slice of Americana as you expect from a little roadside motel like this. But with very little effort could be a million times better. No AC but also no ceiling fans and the smell of smoke outside is a bit too much to leave the windows open. The rooms are huge and they at least have clean, white sheets on the beds. A little effort in the layout/upgrade department could make it a great value. Our TV didn’t turn on but til we realized it was well past most peoples bedtime. Not much of a drive to all the major things in town but out enough to be quiet and secluded. Clean enough but just clearly has not been updated in 20 years. We wanted to do the classic diner breakfast but honestly the prices were not classic diner breakfast prices.”

“The play place is very clean and the building is super nice and well thought out. Definitely a great spot for young kids to play in a safe and clean environment. The entire place is so well thought out and gives off major nostalgia vibes for sure. Our 6 year old had a blast. There's good food for the adults and prices are reasonable considering the selection they have. Easy 5 stars, only slight is that it's located in a fairly high traffic area (but there is good parking behind the building) so it's really not that big of a deal. Thanks for the memories Kidcadia, we recommend to anyone who has not visited this place and has kids from 1-9 years old 😎👍 Also Hamzah is the man! “I've been coming to this location (Southfield) and the Birmingham location. I really like both. The Southfield location I frequent more often and I've only had one issue and the staff fixed it right away. I really appreciated that. My smoothies have been perfect! I also purchased a salad a few times and they were delicious! I think they have a very nice, customer-focused staff and they are always pleasant. The menu items are well prepared and I will continue coming here.”

“This is the first time My sis, mother and myself visit this shop. Apparently they're brand new starting out as a home business then moving into a brick spot. They recently opened up about a month ago. This brand is known for their bowls but we were in the mood for a smoothies. My sister and I grabbed the blue Dolphin smoothie being her idea of the entire visit. Gotta say, I'm pretty impressed as they use natural fruits and it was super delicious. Can't stand sugary smoothies and this was perfect without the diabetes along with great asthethic. Their store has stunning decor and makes for sweet pics for the gram. Store is clean, they have a public bathroom, and outdoor seating and parking is in the back. The staff is super friendly and professional. They helped us with the menu and answered all questions. The owners name is Aya, super friendly lady and Reann, the cashier is who took our order. Overall fantastic experience and looking forward to trying a bowl on next visit! Thanks again ladies.”

“Stopped by to check the place out. Beautiful little place that has exponentially grown the character of the Main Street in Lake. The kind of place you would expect to find in a big tourist town. We ordered an Intense Turkey sandwich and it was delicious. My wife is pretty fussy about her coffee and said it was very good. Colourfully decorated for appeal that is matched with service and excellent goods. Bright and beautiful seating areas both inside and out. Highly recommend!”

“I've been here twice, their tea quality is noticeable and they have a lot of base tea options. They are priced a little high, but no more than coffee. They have macarons, which they do not make in house, but the Italian creme ones are good. I talked with the manager, he was a nice guy who cares about the local community, and he gave me some good recommendations for other good places to eat while in town. Comfortable and relaxed lobby, and not normally too busy. Wheelchair accessible.”
