“Had a friends birthday dinner here and the ambiance is pleasant. Parking is accessible and wait staff are kind and attentive. Food was all right - I wouldn’t say it stood out or was any different than your local Mexican restaurant. Smaller portions for more money. Cocktails were delightful, and loved the frozen margaritas. I can see why many people enjoy it, but a bit too fussy for my taste.”

“I got the Blues (burger) with a $2 upgrade from fries to tots. It was all excellent. I ordered the burger medium - and it was cooked just right. The combination of quality beef, blue cheese, apricot jam, and rosemary was wonderful. I tend to put ketchup on stuff - but this burger was perfect without it. The venue is shiny and has a welcoming vibe. Although it was busy, they were able to seat us right away (table for two). It’s a great venue to meet up with friends or family. Probably a good place for a business meeting as well. The only downside is that it is on the expensive end when it comes to burgers. But they are worth it. I can recommend Red Cow with no hesitation. I know I’ll be back.”

“First time at the American Legion. We had a blast! The snow was starting to fly and we wanted to get dinner before it really started coming down. We happened in right after 4pm on a Saturday, well, BINGO was in progress. I have long held that no other fancy burger gourmet or high end bar, can beat that of a burger from an American Legion or VFW. They did not let me down here. It was fantastic! I ordered two! We got cheese curds and Ribs and fries and chicken wings. All with beers. Played some BINGO as well. Not bad for three people at $50. Service was better than at some high end restaurants. We'll for sure be back!”

“Hi, my husband and I ate lunch at Stalk & Spade for the first time today. We tried the southwest chicken sandwich, the mushroom burger, chicken nuggets, and sweet potato fries. We have been eating meatless meats for over five years and have tried many brands of plant based meats and products. We really enjoyed the meatless beef patty, it was very good with cheese and mushrooms. We did not care much for the flavor of the meatless chicken, the chicken nuggets were hot, crisp and full of oil. There was not much flavor in the meatless chicken itself and too much oil taste. The fries were not hot or close to warm and too much salt. I asked about which oil they use to hold everything together and I was told canola oil. I can not find ingredients or nutrition information anywhere, so I am disappointed I did not know what I was eating or if the food is even close to being healthy. Hopefully they are not using coconut oil to hold everything together... I believe it is trying too hard to knock off McDonald's that it forgot about the overall taste, quality, and if the product itself is even healthy to eat. Nutrition facts would be great if I could find them anywhere..and maybe ask customers if they would like the sauce on the side of the burger as it was too much.”

“This has probably the best patio of any brewery in the twin cities, right on the harbor in Wayzata. The inside is also nice, decorated appropriately in nautical theme. As for the beer, is say it is about average for the market. You won't be disappointed, but there probably isn't anything that will "wow" you. Overall, I'll definitely go back, but primarily for the beer drinking location more than for the beer itself.”

“The service and food are amazing!! My husband and I have been here before and have never had a problem with the food. Our friends we went with frequent 6Smith often and have never had a problem with the food either but this time our steaks came out mooing. We mentioned it to the server so they were aware and to have the kitchen check on future orders- WE SPECIFICALLY SAID to them that we weren't complaining to get something off our bill or free dessert. To our shock, they bought us dessert anyway. The manager gave us EACH a 1/4 cheesecake. When they delivered it, we all laughed. The server knew why we were laughing and said she couldn't do anything about it despite what we said not to do. She wrapped it all up for us to take it home. It was a nice surprise. We are not people who complain to get things for free at all and in fact taking the dessert home made me feel guilty for even saying something in the first place. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing evening with family and friends and you will most certainly be taken care of no matter the situation. Cheers!”

“We went during restaurant week. We ordered the filet with mashed potatoes and asparagus. My favorite trio for a dinner. It was perfectly delicious. The steak is well seasoned and tender. The asparagus if grilled and not seemingly steamed would have made the dish even better, but still good as it was. A chopped salad was prepared table side. The atmosphere is very tightly packed in with tables and chairs right next to each other. A little more space would be nice. My husband and I plan to go again. It is the best steak we have found so far in the area since we moved here 3 years ago.”

But worth it if you're looking for a nice relaxing place on the lake. Wayzata has public docks less than a 1 minute walk away which is nice if you're boating. This restaurant has train tracks, literally 15 feet from the patio. The trains run frequently. I actually think this adds to the experience and it's pretty cool to see. But it can be loud.”

“This was our first visit here and I liked the vibe for a casual dining immediately. We sat by the bar but it was not too noisy. There are tables in the back for more quiet dining if needed. We shared a reuben sandwich, fries and one cup of soup and a nice side salad. The food was served quickly, it was hot and very tasty. The service was excellent. Smooth ordering, and attentive to water, drinks and removing dishes when were were finished.
