A somewhat small, nondescript building that houses a restaurant that is filled with some of the best smells and tastes I've experienced in some time. We ordered the turkey polish and the Italian sandwich...both were extremely flavorful and juicy! Be sure to add the onions and cheese to the sandwich...it makes an already delicious sandwich even better...just be ready for a LOT of juice (you won't be picking up the sandwich any time soon). I did get to taste their housemade BBQ sauce and it is the perfect combo of sweet and heat...a definite must on my next visit on a sandwich or tips!”

“I’m not from the area and I visited this location for the first time on 10/31/2021. I got the southern hospitality bowl, beef patty, and plantains. The plantains and beef patties were delicious! The fried chick was okay, I prefer bone in when eating fried chicken but I think the pieces of meat that they offered were boneless. The yams were delicious as well but I wasn’t to fond of the runny Mac & Cheese and the greens could’ve been seasoned more in my opinion. The cornbread that came with the meal was hard and cold and I ended up throwing it out. I would definitely patron this restaurant again, but try something else on the menu. The staff were super nice and welcoming though.”

“Great food, wonderful atmosphere, prompt, respectful service. I appreciate the 20% service fee because I want to know people are being paid well and aren’t relying on the generosity of tips. Overall highly recommend. All the food we had was excellent. The sauce on lamb meatballs is great. The broccolini is charred and smokey in the best way. The cheeseburger is the best smash burger I’ve ever had. And the cheesecake is worth the trip on its own.”

“Animales Burger Co truck is one of the best that I've been to in the Twin Cities. The burgers are good, but the pastrami "sandwich" is more like a pastrami burger with the thickest, juiciest slabs of pastrami I've ever had. Both come with loads of pickles, which isn't my thing, but you can remove them easy enough. If you go for a burger, add the gold sauce. It's delicious.”

“The employees are always wonderful, i don't speak Spanish, but when i try and ask " how do you pronounce a particular word" They Never Hesitate and Help Me with the pronunciation and NEVER IRRITATED about doing so ( I can't say that about other Mexican restaurants). The food is ALSO Good and i go there from time to time. But i wish they did had a bigger menu (more so dinner plates), maybe in the future... I suggest y'all try them out”

It was the highlight of the event I was indeed gratified by the seasoning and careful distribution of spices. Definitely need to visit the restaurant and try their menu. At the event there was chicken lamb and beef with a wonderful rid rice. Delicious Somali dish”
