“Great new location in, but separate from a beautiful new Mackenthuns grocery store. The upstairs could use some rearranging. There are two small tables (with only 2 chairs!?) behind a very nice long high top. Awkward. And one table in front near stairs (not a great location). There is a nice 4 chair comfy lounge area near a pretend fireplace. Move the high top back and place the two tables in front of it. And buy some more chairs! That would give it a 5 star for atmosphere. Coffee and service always fantastic!”

Moreover, one specific visit stands out: while overwhelmed with multitasking (kids, work, dog...you name it), I made a mistake on my mobile order. We were looking for a small wedding cake for our family to enjoy and Amy’s was able to fit so much love and beauty into the perfect sized cake. They made the entire selecting and ordering process a breeze to make sure the cake they made would be exactly what we envisioned. Creativity knows no limits in what Amy’s could provide including an extensive list of flavors to choose from and ways the cake could be assembled and decorated. “The poke was very fresh and was a surprisingly big portion. They have kiosks to order and it came out within a few minutes. There were a few tables inside and the interior is nice to eat in. It seems like it was mostly a takeout place and had a lot of people coming in and out for pickup. Convenient location in the main St. Louis park mall! There’s tons of parking in the ramps all around which is nice. This is our new favorite poke place in the twin cities! Their Thai bubble tea was decent but a little small for the price point. The only negative was the spicy salmon was a completely mashed fish paste, which I wasn’t expecting. The normal salmon was delicious!”

Very cool vibe with artwork all around. Although it can get pretty busy, it doesn't get super loud. Some indoor and uncovered outdoor seating. Drinks were amazing, loved our hot cocoa and lattes. The lunch sandwiches we had were so good. I highly recommend the hot honey chicken sandwich. Chips for sides were fine for filling up. Chocolate cheese cake was one of the better ones I've had in town. Friendly staff that had a good feel for when we had questions and when to leave people be. Absolutely worth buying more than just food, just note that the price adds up rather quickly. Free wifi.”

I got the Grecian omelette—gyro meat with spinach, tomato, and feta cheese with tzatziki sauce on the side—it is the most amazing omelette I have ever had!! i swapped out the side of toast for lefse and it was also delicious. My daughter tried the tres leches French toast and son had the breakfast burger (both limited specials), and they both also loved their food. Our server was nice and knowledgeable and the restaurant clean and convenient. We highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast or brunch!!”

I was surprised by how reasonable their prices are compared to some other coffee shops I frequent. I'll probably start coming here more often! My iced coffee was solid, as was my nutella, banana, and almond sandwich - very unique! Friendly staff. There are two gender-neutral bathrooms here, and an ample parking lot next to the building. “This is an Ethiopian restaurant. There isn’t much English spoken here and there is no menu, but the staff and patrons are friendly. If you’re an adventurous eater, you might like it. The soup was delicious and the salad was fresh. I’m actually not sure what kind of meat was in my main dish. It was pretty good but a few of the bites were a little gamey tasting. The seasoning in the rice was good, and you get a generous portion, so you won’t leave hungry. The waiter rang me up for $17 which seemed a little high, but he hit “skip” on the tip screen, so I guess it was a fair price if you consider that the tip is “included”. If I go back I think I’ll just get two or three bowls of soup! 🥣 Overall I’d give it 3.5 stars.”

“I was not prepared for the fact that this “cafe” is in a public health hospital. The tables and chairs all looked incredibly uncomfortable like they don’t want people to sit in them (and hardly anyone was). The ladies restroom was closed, so I had to go all the way to the sixth floor for another restroom. Which wouldn’t be so bad but the elevators reeked really bad of smoke. People were also smoking right outside the front doors. I did not eat the food, but I rated both the food and service highly because it’s not the employee’s fault that this place smells gross, etc.”
