“I've been a student at MSU for a long time. I can say that this is one of the coolest old buildings on campus, and the staff are always so kind and accommodating. Aramark certainly has things it needs to improve with it's on campus dining, but it has done alright with the Perry. It's one of my favorite places to eat and work as well.”

“Ordered fine and our cashier was polite. However, I asked for light ice and she gave me the max amount of ice. I asked her if she could please give me a drink with light ice, and she said that they had to put that amount in there because “that’s what the drink machine allows”. I normally ask for no ice so I asked her what she would’ve done had I asked for that and she shrugged and said sorry. I know it isn’t a big deal to some, but I just don’t understand why they act like it’s an inconvenience. Yes, there’s a button for each size drink but there’s also a button to manually put in as much as requested. Thanks.”

“Great food great service. Had an hour to waist in the area so I took my daughter in for a long lunch. We had our food and were done but still had a while to waist so we just stayed at our table letting my daughter color. It gave her a nice break from the car seat. The staff continued to check on us and even played and talked to my daughter while it was not busy. Mugshots keep doing what you are, your staff is plain awesome.”

“I love this place, it used to be my favorite restaurant in town. Everything on the menu is great. It's reasonably priced. The app is great. However, since the new manager took over the customer service has gone down hill. Ever time I order something online, they don't include cups and I have to ask for them. Almost every time I ask for blue cheese they give me ranch. As I'm writing this I just picked up and online order that had no sauce, no cup, and no fork for the macaroni. It's little, simple things like this that make me not want to come back.”

“Ribs were good. I thought the sauce was missing a little something. I believe they would have been better without the sauce. But, I say a of that knowing everyone is different about BBQ and, someone else may think it is the best sauce in the world. I do suggest that you try it. I will be eating there again. Mostly due to the catfish. It was very good. I personally would prefer a tad bit more pepper in the batter but, it was not a deal breaker. Overall, I was very happy with the two sandwiches (I was just sampling it for the first time) I got. Especially for the price.”

“I went in on Tuesday, 11\19\19 and placed an order for a chicken sandwich, no mayo, and two apple pies. Time stamp on receipt says order was put in at 19:03. I WAS told the pies had to be cooked and, having worked for Popeyes, I know it takes several minutes to do so. However, 20 minutes had passed and my order was still not done. I inquired about my order and was quickly told they hadn't started on it yet. By the time I received my order, over 30 minutes had passed. One of the staff did offer a complimentary side or drink and I did take a drink. When I finally got the order, the sandwich was slightly warm, at best. I understand this was one of the peak times for business at the restaurant, which was the only reason I didn't ask for a manager. I can't really say the staff wasn't doing anything because the restaurant was getting slammed and I remember Tuesdays being really busy.”

“The food was pretty good and the staff seemed really nice. However, I saw some questionable things going on as far as cleanliness is concerned. I saw a cook moving around bacon on a plate several times with his bare hands and it took him a few times before it was where he wanted it. I also didn't like the plates because they don't seem to be something that would clean too easily. I am a slight "germophobe," but if you are someone who doesn't care about that stuff too much, you may really like this place. Cheers!”
